Yeah.. funny how there aren't many business MMO's out there. If you pull it off correctly it could get very popular.

Don't like that mechanic. I like the ability to go scrounging around a dead body to see what I can find rather.

I loved the original Unreal Tournament. Somehow the arena shooters of today seemed to have lost their way from there, not sure how to explain it but they just never felt the same.
It would be...

For $266m it damn better look amazing!
Game Dev Tycoon is an awesome tycoon game where you start your own game development company and you go through the years of new consoles and new tech coming out and you have to keep up with the...
I agree with Jambe, I used to have a 1920 x 1200 monitor a while back and it looked great, definately noticeably better than a 1080p. I've always only had Samsung monitors, so can only recommend...

I looked at a lot of cases and went with the Cooler Master Storm Stryker.
What a lovely case. And that carry handle at the top is just awesome if you need to.. well carry it around or move etc.

If you'd like to keep up to date on our game, we have a new page on Facebook
There are always exceptions of course. But in 95% of cases Steam will provide better exposure.
Indie devs can't compete on a limited marketing/media exposure budget to the big Steam exposure machine.
You're talking 40+ million potential users compared to indies bringing in a few thousand...
Very simple, I've said it before, and burningpet posted a sample image further up, give Greenlight games exposure in the Steam client, either through a panel as burningpet has shown on the front...
The steam community should decide what is 'unprofessional' and what is not.
Give each developer a fair chance of exposure, and the crap will filter to the bottom.
Getting onto Steam should not be...
I agree with all this, but don't think popularity should count. It should be purely random, with priority given to games with downloadable, functional demos. Steam needs to be the tool that provides...
My improvement list for Greenlight...
1.) Improve discoverability of Greenlight titles, by showing 2-3 random titles daily on the Steam news update popup window

You are correct Boris.
The compression was so simple, that I thought de-compression would be a breeeze, while it was, the de-compression revealed a fatal flaw, so lots of data was missing in the...

Thanks for the interest . it's still in the prototyping stage but I need to put a nice pretty UI around it and do some performance optimizations, and hopefully find some ways to squeeze out a little...

Well that is the beauty of it, you can take a compressed format, and compress it even more to save space/storage, send it via email etc. I don't know of any other software that can compress already...

Writing a software tool that does this and selling it for cash is more my idea, and my forte.
How exactly does publishing a paper make one money?

Yep, lossless. It's actually pretty simple, and was just thinking outside the box.
Here are my stats so far on the prototype...

True, but the question is, will people pay for the ability to compress video and audio, because no other software can?
Anyway, we shall see..

Well the original format makes no difference. It can really achieve 50-60%, no matter what file you throw at it.
I guess then here the power of my algorithm is that it can compress files that have...

I've just developed a compression algorithm that can compress any audio/video file to 50-60% of it's original size, which can be uncompressed again for use.
I'm just trying to determine if...
