I'd suggest playing something like Neptune's Pride until one of your friends hates the others so much that they leave, then you can make a 5-person party in Guild Wars 2 :P
On a more serious note,...

I've not actually played it, but a friend tells me it's great fun in co-op, and it supports controllers.
Also, conveniently part of the All Stars Bundle...
I decided to hold off on getting Attila for now, probably going to wait for a sale.
I did, however, give Rome 2 another chance, and I've finally got into it! A couple of graphical mods made the...
Yeah, I wish I'd remembered this when Rome 2 launched! I'd not have wasted my money on vanilla Rome 2, and would have bought Attila instead. Damn my lack of willpower in the face of a new Total War...
Yeah, I suspect that I'll end up holding off until (a) people have had a chance to test out the whole campaign (and the inevitable bugs have been fixed) and (b) the price comes down a bit (I'm...
So I've been reading generally good things about Attila, and, in the absence of a WIT, was wondering whether anyone owns it and can share some info?
I personally bounced off Rome 2 pretty hard...
I'm pretty impressed with all the CoD:AW screens. The graphics look pretty great, I reckon. Shame about the game underneath.
Been playing some Sins of a Solar Empire this evening. The Advent Rebel...
Longtime lurker on this thread, so first just want to say thanks for all the amazing screens!
Also, I've just discovered Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor's photo mode (late to the party, I know)....

Totally agree. And given the whole thing was in one city, it would have been nice if it had been a better realised city.
Me too. I've seen some interviews where Bioware have said they've...
Portal 1 and 2? But everyone's played them already so that probably doesn't help.
The new Tomb Raider isn't quite one night, but it's a fairly short time frame (a couple of days if I remember...

I've just finished Dragon Age 2 (Inquisition has caught my attention so I wanted to see what the earlier games were like) I'd never played it before, and I really don't see why it got such a bad...
I agree with what appears to be the general opinion here: they screwed up, admitted it and came to a reasonable position. Excellent.
I also want to add that, despite their original screw-up, I...

Yeah, the flak cannon's probably my favourite weapon ever. I loved that you could bounce the projectiles off walls to shoot people round corners :)

To be fair, the very top of the article did state:
In other news, I just got a new graphics card (R9 290), and then spent the first evening with it playing Minecraft... (I'll load up The Witcher...
For a third person shooter, I'd recommend Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. (The horde mode is the only bit I played, and that was on a console, but it was great fun). I loved the mix of shooting and...
The Square Enix steam sale this weekend actually looks pretty good - lots of 75% off goodness.
Hitman: Blood Money grabs my attention for £1.74. I've never played a Hitman game, but have heard...

Edit: now gone
I just got an email telling me I'm in the Magicka: Wizard Wars alpha/beta/whatever, and apparently they give you a spare key to give away too, which is cool. PM me if you're...

I suspect that this is because more people are now eligible for booster packs. If one booster pack is generated each time somebody crafts a badge and then assigned randomly to an eligible person,...
Commander Keen is only £57.72 on Steam!3723
That screenshot's come out poorly, but the list price of Commander Keen is showing as £221.99
Agreed, DS3 was clearly designed to be played on a controller. However, unlike Skyrim (which, as a first-person game, is pretty clunky with a controller), it plays really well with an xbox gamepad....

I browse PCGamesN and PCGamer fairly regularly (but there's often a pretty big overlap with the RPS articles).
Seconded - the PCGamer UK podcast is always excellent, and the perfect...
Gamefly UK are doing Crusader Kings 2 for £8.75 (registers on Steam so no need to use their client) - It has probably been cheaper but I picked it up today and played for about 2 hours straight (only...
It's definitely worth it, Third Age is amazing! (I'm a huge fan of both LOTR and Total War games, so it's pretty much perfect).
As for BFME 1 vs 2: I think I actually preferred 2 (gotta love the...

I would definitely recommend Lair of the Shadow Broker, which was excellent. Arrival was less good, but is the key link between the 2nd and 3rd games, so it's probably worth getting and playing...
Anno's DRM is annoying but not always-on. It has a launcher, which launches UPlay, which launches the launcher, which launches the game, which requires you to log in. A bit of a hassle, but after all...
