Serpent in the Staglands is out! Truly a wonderful year for kickstarted RPGs. This is the base game. For backers, many expansions are coming.
Also, I played Broken Age Act II. Yes, some of...

Has anyone noticed Bloodstained has extra backer achievements? I'm not sure how to feel about this:...

Games: AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAH: A reckless disregard for gravity. - Terrifying fun.
The wonderful end of the world - really cool katamari style game.
I haven't played...
I'm very far behind on my FPS, but here's what I would recommend so far:
Metro 2033 - This is my favorite linear / corridor shooter. It's full of incredible small touches like: using realistic...

Just looked at bloodstained again, and it's closing in on $2m. Jesus. $28 is a bit too much for my tastes though.
If I was doing a kickstarter any time soon, I would rush to get it on soon.

Well, Bloodstained smashed through its goal. I think it might get David Hayter before I check again.
[I was half joking, but yeah, they just smashed through their last stretchgoal.]

It's nowhere near beating or nearing Star Citizen. It's slowed down considerably, and they are perhaps wisely refraining from adding an optimistic amount of stretch goals to speed it up. Star...

Sticky: Also, Soulbringer ...
Also, Soulbringer looks very much like a randomly generated Hyper Light Drifter, but I don't know if that's a bad thing.

I would not be surprised to see an uptick in the quality of new pitches, 3D platformers, and number of backers after this campaign. A rising tide does lift all boats, and this campaign is going for...

I would kill for another 3d platformer (Hat in time looks good). Kill.
No multiclass, but less need for it. Character building is both more and less open to experimentation.
All the stats do the same thing to every class, so dump stats are determined by role rather...

I think kickstarter as a platform might need another big project to build some buzz. Maybe two or three.

Also, Izzle was canceled from lack of interest.
I'm playing solo on PoD, and having a lot more fun with the combat. Enemies are knocking down, sickening, and using that stupid priest pillar that kills everything. I would definitely recommend PoD...
If anyone is having trouble with the final boss fight, remember that all the mobs in the game (including the ardra dragon) are relatively easy to charm. Playing with a cipher, it was rare that half...
Just beat the dragon. It sucks hardcore. Basically suck down health potions and use raw damage so its insane DR doesn't hurt you. My blunderbuss ciphers were getting shit for focus that entire...

Sticky: Izzle ...
Izzle has one of the best pitches I've seen in a while.
The taxes are just as likely from merchant caravans as the castle sits on an important crossroads.
About spell-scaling. They absolutely don't need to have it. Many of them are powerful throughout the games (like slicken). The later levels general give much more flexibility than outright power...
Weird, my main is using a named blunderbuss and flail right now. Estocs and arquebuses are rarer, but I've found three. Have you gone on the endless paths? Anyways, I've seen a ton of everything...
Nah, but if he runs into the middle of a group of enemies, the rest are likely to follow. Enemies don't like to break engagement. If it's a large group, start a slicken going as soon as the battle...
I'm absolutely loving it so far. I'm playing on normal to learn the system, and I've gotten to the point where I've started playing around with it. My favorite tactic is to have Aloth use Grimoire...

Pillars is released for preload. You can also check the game guide out on steam.

Btw, Pillars keys are going to release any time now. The server just went down for scheduled downtime, which probably means they're beefing up before being slammed.

Skyborn is good for what it is, a very short rpgmaker cyberpunk episodic game. If that's your jam, I would get it.
I want depth hunter to be endless ocean and it is not. My wife when she loaded...
