What does this mean? Is there going to be some further discount? (I'm unfamiliar with GG's practices)
Thanks for the info!
On the Dishonored sale, the GG site says that if you order, they'll send you a key in a few days. I've never used GamersGate before, are they reliable on this issue? Is there any coupon codes or...
Pick up Star Wars: Republic Commando for <$4 if you don't already have it. It's one of my favorite FPS's due to just being silly squad-based fun--I think I've played through like 3 times at this...
Thanks, Jesus_Phish!
Is Brutal Legend worth $10? It's 80 on MC but I'm looking for the opinion of someone's who's played it. What's a comparable game in terms of style and gameplay?

I just realized I haven't purchased a game since the Steam December sale. Sad/happy face?
I played them both to death when they first came out. I just think Deus Ex 1 has aged better than Half Life 1, probably because an RPG-like FPS like DE1 relies more on story and exploration and less...
Ha, I played Deus Ex 1 recently before I bought and played Human Revolution. It still held up, I thought. I don't think I could make it though Half-Life 1 these days.
I liked the "defend the...
If you're trying to figure out whether you can deal with the datedness, keep in mind that Thief 1 is contemporary to Half-Life 1 and Unreal 1, while Thief 2 is contemporary to Deux Ex 1 and Hitman 1....
CoD: BlOps2 is $30 with Amazon coupon, which is usually the best price you'll find on a CoD game for years after it comes out.
ETA: Steam put the game on a weekend sale ($40), but the Amazon price...
Keep in mind that Legend and Underworld are a duology--one starts right where the other leaves off. I really enjoyed all three, and, as an aside, really, really wish the Uncharted series was on PC.
After the next ME3 DLC comes out, I'll pick up whatever elements I don't have (2DLC, 3, and 3DLC) and play through 1->2->3 with all the DLC. I don't mind waiting till then, and the end result should...
I'm waiting for the 75% off sale.
Is the increase in sales from the demo worth the cost to the developer of making the demo? It sounds like for a 69p app, tjrp's answer would be no.
Look at it this way, is the (ME2 price + the BW point price for DLC) worth the enjoyment you'll get out of the game? If so, then why the swearing?
When was the last time this happened? I've been tracking this elusive sale, but have only ever heard rumors and legends.
It came out around the same time as Max Payne 2, Call of Duty 1, and Deus Ex 2. If you can handle replaying those, then you'll be ok with XIII.
Uh, why don't you just add up the base ME3 price (6,44€) and the DLC price and see whether the total "real ME3" price sounds fair to you?
Can't you use the 2K credit on the XCOM deal you were eyeing?
ETA: Oh, if the XCOM deal is 12/25 and the credit is 12/26, then nevermind.
I played through them again over the summer. The lack of checkpoints and regenerating health in CoD and CoD:UO was a bit unnerving at first, but I think they've aged pretty well.
Killing virtual Nazis properly requires a real trigger. Kids these days, pressing buttons or clicking mice in their NRA-disapproved murder-simulators.
We were too poor back then for a joystick...
Back in my day (C64), real computer gaming used joysticks, darnit. Uphill both ways.
