Yeah, Resi 4 was pretty damned horrible as a port. There's quite a few mods out for it though which improve textures, shaders, and actually identify which buttons you need to press during QTE's.

Sanctum IS on Desura. I can't remember if they gave a code for it on Desura though.

The games will almost certainly be on Desura, which narrows things down a bit.
