Yeah, it's a bit different to the general feel of the HW series, isn't it?
I've got to say, I kind of preferred the old audio, the low quality of it just gives a "beamed across space in 1960's era...
I should be OK for this, not much of an SL but could do any of the other roles.

In case anyone else had trouble figuring it out like me:
- At the login screen click the flag, and choose the International server.
- Type /room Ksempac. It'll then ask you for the...

Oh I know, but I just thought it was interesting that a person who was fired was defending the whole thing rather than being negative about it.
I don't know how they expect people to believe...

Interestingly, DCarey got fired and has posted on Reddit saying "Columbus Nova deserves no hate in all this. They are more like white knights than negative forces here. SOE needed a shake up/new...

It's not like they were overstaffed to begin with. It seems totally bizarre to do this so close to the PS4 release unless they plan to totally drop the game altogether in a pretty dramatic fashion.
There have been a few occasions where I didn't realise that the game had made *me* shaman for the round. Cue a suicidal dash for cheese and instant death, much to the outrage of the rest of the mice...
It could be a bit of a laugh, but I think we'd need a good few people for it.
True, but at the same time one of the Devs said:
That sounds to me like the pack is primarily about supporting Overkill rather than purchasing game content. I really doubt they would lock a...
Yeah, no thanks. I'm sure there are plenty of huge Overkill fans who'll be happy to do it though.
Wait, so they've essentially just monetised the whole Crimefest thing?
EDIT: Just checked...

I think the suggestion is that it'll work against light vehicles like harrassers but not heavy things. They were also talking about giving it to the Heavy and the Engi, possibly as a tool instead of...
...Interesting. I'm not keen on the idea of "pay us $20 and we'll give you something nonspecific", it is going to have to be pretty big to justify that blind faith. I doubt it'll be more DLC...

Fair enough. So the question is, instead of just talking about a tankbuster nerf, how could other noseguns be made more appealing? Better for defending against ESFs? Something designed to work...

Especially a Tankbuster Lib, the imbalance there is horrendous. And you're right, the "XP Earned" thing could be great for some of the usually neglected playstyles.
In all honesty (and despite...

I wouldn't argue with no constant lock, but I guess the speed part really depends on exactly how turning rate, reload rate and range are balanced. I don't think something faster than a G2A missile...

You should definitely include the Sky-walrus conversation!
Some interesting chat from the Devs about changes to come in after the vehicle stuff:
The A2A missile changes sound great but on...
There are a few things claiming to be screenshots which make it look very like Galactic Civilisations. It's meant to be a continuation of Civ: Beyond Earth, so Civ in Space kinda makes sense.
To be honest I think it is better this way, they can put all their energy into the gameplay rather than worrying about monetisation and centralised servers. For a team which is releasing their first...

Unfortunately I'm on the move with my low spec laptop this weekend otherwise I would. :( It looks interesting.

Yeah, we weren't too bad in the run up to Christmas but then it went very quiet. I'm looking forwards to it picking up again, going solo is only fun for so long.

I agree a lot of it is overblown, but some of it is fairly justified. Quietly slashing the drop rate for implants and not clearly telling anyone isn't really the best way to approach an issue which...
I thought it was pretty decent when I paid £20, so a fiver for it is a good deal. There's not an enormous amount of depth to the unit combat but the big events like crashing moons together or nuke...

I think a lot of people are deploying them in the same way they'd deploy the AI turret at the moment: somewhere with a great fire arc covering doorways. All this does is make them obvious, and the...
This....this looks fun but complicated as hell. I'm watching a video about the geneticist and I've no idea what he's doing, but has somehow engineered himself to see thorugh walls using a monkey. ...
