I dont think you will be, most servers i have seen still have low level players.
The starting guns, still have enough stopping power to make kills. I actually find that not playing on hardcore...
I also played some of the open beta, (RTW Days), and from what i remember, they have made progress in sorting alot of the balance issues. You will see a load of gumpf about TTK, and how it was better...
