Hmm I'm not sure, what do you think of Sinful Robot, Quint?
So according to the Gamersgate and Steam page the game requires Uplay.
The best part of Time Commander was that it lead to Mike Loades getting his own tv series.

City/fortress defences only function if there are friendly units nearby, look for little flags over towers and gates. These can be very effective especially the oil traps over the gates which can...
From what I've seen it's best described as competent. Personally I love tactical squad shooters and this seems like the only more or less competent tactical squad man shoot since Brothers in Arms...

Never really noticed that but the bigger problem with the AI armies is they cheat super hard. It's especially noticable in the narrow confines of the Shogun 2 campaign map where you'll sometimes...

It works in the base game and as far as I know arrow cam has been in every TW game since Medieval 2 maybe since Rome. Not sure when they added first person mode but I know its in Empire and...

Always try to have a regiment of light cavalry at hand. They are crap in a fight but have two uses, they are the only units that can catch up to cavalry archers (the most annoying/overpowered unit in...

Roads are quick to build (a single turn for the most basic) give a decent boost to trade income and allow you to move your units much faster.
Another good idea is to avoid any militia. They're...

Yeah, the move away from the thac0 system was probably a good move. That said I do still kind of miss that moment when you're character reaches AC 0 for the first time. I always got a little warm...

"You can be shocking, just don't hurt anyone's feelings."
You can't praise a game for its shocking violence and then complain when the violence shocks someone.
I also take serious exception to...
I was left cold by Xcom EU. A bunch of niggling design decisions like the miniscule squad size and pointless homebase make it feel like they're one reiteration from something great. I have high hopes...

Its almost like the game was trying to say something about violence. As if it was... I don't know... trying to shock the player about their own character's action.
In terms of minimalist horror Zork deserves some kind of medal. Seriously, that fucking grue, no explanation no gore no description just the knowledge that that mofo is there waiting for you. The...
I'm not saying Gish was great. But it certainly isn't a punishment game. It had far more imagination and variety than most of the physics puzzlers that came after it.
Doom isn't really scary. What it is is intense.
Dozens of monsters coming from all sides, thrashing guitar music, screen flashing red with every hit and every moment is a cacophony of 8 bit sound...

A PC port of a year old game having so many glitches is unacceptable. Fez is a strong contender for my game of the year though.
I've had so many problems with .net recently I really have to...

Anachronox is a fabulous light RPG. It's pretty much linear and fits in the JRPG end of the RPG spectrum but it is one of the best written games I've ever played.
... I liked Gish. What's wrong with Gish?

Like I said before most combat can be ran past or you can use diplomacy. But playing as a mage gives you a ton of super powerful AOE spells so genocide becomes an easy solution.

People saying new DmC is worth playing? Geeze.
Revengeance is where it's at people. Dante is just a hot mess compared to that.
