I may be a little rusty leading but I'll happily PL/SL/RO as needed.
Jolly good, and I like like the "yearly member meetings" way of framing things (I guess in English that would be an AGM... Annual General Meeting).
As a slight aside, and I may or may not be alone...
Could someone explain how this plan solves the problem of a lack of willing PLs/SLs? I've read the doc and the rest of this thread and I'm not seeing it.
Not that it's a bad plan, although I'd be...

The SCU is usually in the centre of the base (except tech labs, they are closer to the spawn room) and the shields protecting it go down when the base is 75% (?) capped. Anyone can shoot both ways...

I've bounced of DCUO before, but I think I'm going to give it another try.
Compared to City of Heroes the power/costume selection is woeful, but the gameplay is more action oriented, so it could...
Glad to see things went well after I left (and why wouldn't they?). 46% pop does make it tricky to find a decent fight (well, I was struggling anyway once we had Sungrey).
In any case I had a good...

My problem is that I can't see the missiles (they don't render), same with fractures (but I have seen other missile types :S ).

Just as I max out my spawn beacon they nerf them, although getting rid of that lock-on bug will be a relief.

I quite like PLing, but only volunteer if I think I'll be on for at least an hour (and since I usually play <90 minute sessions it doesn't come up too often).
I find the easiest way for a...

I would be game for any of that, but I'm busy on both the 25th of August and the 22nd of November.
Someone organise a meet up some other time... preferably in Oxford :P

Maybe "strictly mentored newbies for StratGir" tonight instead then?
"Try a different class" week - encourage people to experiment with different classes, could be useful so everyone gets an idea of how each role works.
I've found that a magrider can work well just following infantry orders, moving with the squad and providing fire support/flanking as they advance. If they go into a small building, shell the windows...

Maybe because the more you destroy it the less it's worth? Or it's a drain on resources when it automatically rebuilds? Or it doesn't connect the lattice while it rebuilds?
I don't suppose we'll get...

The voxel stuff for EQ Next is based on this guy's engine - http://procworld.blogspot.co.uk/ - which I have been following for some time and has a lot of cool features.
As cool as destructible...
I shalln't be able to make next Wednesday, but I expect there will be minutes and I'm certainly going to be on the receiving end of any wisdom dispensed, rather than giving it out, so that'll work...
I believe the first Wednesday of the month is for a general Outfit meeting. We could put it on the second Wednesday, or maybe the first Tuesday of the month as a prelude to the main meeting.

To a certain extent it depends on the platoon leader. I was SLing under SketchSeven last night and he's a very hands on PL, frequently broadcasting orders to the whole platoon personally. In that...

Sinomatic provided the link in the second post in the thread (https://recruit.soe.com/?theme=ps2). Looks like it's a SOE thing unfortunately, can't see a Pro7 equivalent.

You noticed that too :P but more seriously...
I noticed the ordering too, I was just paraphrasing the page as I read down it but I ended up doing things like talking about mumble twice, or talking...
I PLed using AB+CD last time and A+B+C+D before that. I preferred A+B+C+D for the CtA (normally I prefer AB+CD) but unhelpfully I can't remember why :P
