Oh yeah that wasn't specifically aimed at you. Just generally to the thread.

GT Legends had the good majority of those tracks and around 30 cars, it was 100 cars not 100s and 30 is really fine.Totally happy with that much. It's variety of cars that's important. GTR2s problem...

rFactor 2 does look interesting, but with the online subscription stuff I always had the impression it was for online racing people. I just want a single player career thing I can piss around in...
I dunno pretty much all the actually good Batman stories tend to be about the psychology of Batman/Bruce Wayne and how he is as near to perfect as one can be, yet is also deeply unhappy. As a 1...

Also my ideal track listing:

Wherever the current Canadian GP is

He would be me. But no I don't like Forza, for the reasons given. I don't need ~1000 cars, lots of cars could mean 100 and it's more about variety. I'd rather chuck a 60s Elan around a few dozen real...

Forza 2-4 are no way near that.
a) No dynamic weather
b) No dynamic lighting - a and b are because they completely prebake all assets.
c) No qualifying
d) Only marginally long races, almost all...

That was true of Civ 4 to some extent and lots of the things they took away are from Civ 4 expansion packs. So meh.
Civ 5 is pretty bloody good, though the intro music definitely isn't as good as...

I want something like Gran Turismo, with a better sim part (I don't have a clutch or a nice gear stick or anything and I don't drive enough to notice the difference). So lots of...
They were so badly written.
Also new episode summary: Fucking finally!!!!
I had to go look it up as the term seems to have passed me by. I had noticed it getting thrown about recently but mostly just ignored it.
It strikes me as vaguely annoying instead of just saying...
Yes and no. I think it kind of depends on a great number of things and the context within which they're said. Romans and Greeks often said things about suffrage but they really meant for patricians...

Another vote for GTR2/Race/GT Legends, Unleashed 2 was basically by the same guys. The various names of studios and asset sell offs kind of muddle the water with that. GT Legends is my all time...
Also they added an addendum which is that Steam only started recording hours played in 2009. So games played or bought before then register no hours.
Hence the Lost Coast being owned by many...
Just finished The World Turned Upside Down by Christopher Hill. I cannot emphasise just how good this book is. Especially if read with God's Englishman and the Century of Revolution.Hill is brilliant...

Oh also I tried replaying Rome 2 Total War at the weekend. It is still shit.

I have found I can't go back to Civ 4 now. Hexes are just too good a system, also the GUI. I had the same problem when I tried replaying SMAC, I'd forgotten just how far GUIs have come in 15 years.
As it is things, I'll stick to the inanimate.
A cup of Earl Grey in the afternoon. No milk, and definitely no lemon as that's for savages.
A pint of ale in a mug, on a friday...

One of those terrible "games for girls" that involve dressing up brides currently. I really don't have the heart to actually go look one up though.
One of our managers claimed Activision is the biggest indie for that very reason.... everyone in the room audibly groaned though.
Descending is really damned tricky. I seem to remember altitude being relative to sea level, so looking at the gauge during your descent might be very off if you're landing on a mountain, or in a...
That'd be hard. Most coorporate banking jobs to do customer Web front ends for them seem to be written in C#. It also seems quite common from talking to people in the industry.
It's still fairly rough around the edges to be honest. It does guide you down building rockets in a bit more of a structured way. Though when I played it at first I basically just listed off the...
I logged in to my UK bank account to get a message saying they had been unaffected, presumably because they use MS.
Career mode is kind of jolly as you feel like you have goals. So you send up satellites and have the kerbals run "experiments" which gives you points to unlock new parts. So it helps gradually build...
