Black the Fall, the alienation 'em up game is almost halfway there.
Elegy for a Dead world, the I don't know how to describe the genre but it involves stories, is about...

Weekend Update - New Games
My mouse is still unreliable, and there are so many new games I'm doing two separate posts. All in all, this is a great week.
After Image is a 2.5d noir cyberpunk...

The flame in the flood in particular looks really good, but I never got into the whole eat/sleep tedium of survival games. That's actually about when I stopped playing minecraft.

This week had several good new games. Mouse deleted post again, grr.
Fair warning, the impressive Outpost 13 is running a new campaign the day after their old one ended for...

That looks really neat. I'm not quite sure what the gameplay elements are but I really like Dejobaan.

I'm surprised procedural generation is so low on the list. I would think that would be one of the first they would ask.

Still, greenlight was met with nothing but criticism. Either Valve let no one in and devs were mad, or devs were mad because it let in everyone.

Eh. I think its the best defense against the flood of bitching from devs that steam wasn't letting their game on. This way everyone gets on steam, but individually collections can still separate...
Static kickstarter release dates are completely incompatible with stretchgoals.

Congratulations on your very successful start!

I love the artstyle (and covered it in the kickstarter thread), but the writing seems a little pretentious. As in, "this game may change the way you think...."
Also, Sunless Sea. Good lord,...
I don't know if the goal is a particularly worthy one though. A character with a high degree of separation creates a loss player agency, since player agency and reactivity are the defining...

So my mouse is malfunctioning and it ate my update.
Here's the important points:
Battle Chef Brigade has an awesome fucking pitch. It's a mix between monster hunter and iron chef.

From the comments: As far as updates, it looks like the court case isn't being presented until 06-22-2015 Seattle Time.
Also, it's sad, but it's looking less and less likely that I'll ever back...

Eh, it was a good buy. I go through a peck of apples a week during apple season (and this year is a pretty good apple season). That's about 5kg.

Not much new this week that excited me. Then again, I'm not entirely certain that kickstarter's own search engine works that well. What I wouldn't give for a simple scrollbar, pages,...

I've been following the forums too, and its always funny to hear the occasional complaints that Obsidian isn't listening to backers when people can point to direct evidence. It gets a bit wearing to...

Yeah, so the big surprise for me this week was Death to Spies 3, which besides looking really boring, includes actual footage of Kennedy getting shot in its pitch video. No thank...
3) Is the 10 a binary joke? That would make it 64.
4) Is very cool ok, standing in for 0 kelvin?

I'm kinda glad Kaptain Brawe won't succeed. It took the fairly dishonorable wait a month and then start again but with half the goal tactic.
Paradigm looks pretty cool though. I laughed a couple...

Nothing says quality like Quinn's New Vegas review. Really though, I think that some of the new writers were not great, Nathan being the not-greatest. I've already noticed the quality of the site...

Still playing Baldur's Gate. It's my first time modding it, and I don't think I could play without Sword Coast Stratagems again. I love playing through the first game as an inquisitor, but I think...

Everyone already listed a bunch of games, so I was surprised by the flood of quality pitches this week. I would give the vast majority of them a look. It's impressive.

Oh, and Sunless Sea is completely remaking the combat system so it all happens on screen rather than whatever the card fight system is.

Moon hunters looks fairly impressive. It's not Hyperlight Drifter, Night in the Woods, or Radio the Universe, but I love how Kickstarter is encouraging game developers to make really cool short...
