Another vote for X360.
I had a cheaper gamepad a few years ago. Tried to play dead space or red faction with it and it simply did not work. After investing in an X360 controller, it's just plug &...

Another vote for X360.

I've played pretty much nothing but this game for 9 months back in the days, it's awesome.
I would love to play some more of it, bring it on.
On my old sega 8 bit: Asterix & Alex Kid in Miracle World.
For the newer generation, I loved Limbo. It's such a clever platformer. Braid was great too. More puzzle games than action games but...
Audiosurf springs to mind. Just listen to the music and play.
I loved riding those scorpion and dragon mounts. Felt great when you got one.
Finished Torchlight 2. Played a lot of Chivalry (which can't be finished) and some of the Orcs Must Die 2 DLC I bought during the sales.
Batman: Arkham City and Dishonored are on top of my...
Golden axe is a lot of fun.
Joined. Been having fun with the game with mixed results.
The same here, tried it last year but I had to put everything to low. Bought a new PC this year and can now play it at 2560x1440 at max settings.
It's a fun concept and playing games like Assassins Creed on the big screen looks like fun. I'd have to buy a 5 or 10 meter hdmi cable plus a wireless x360 controller though (already have a wired...
For me, RPS did a lot to promote these games. I remember reading about an early build of FTL and it became my first kickstarted game. Plus, spaceships! Crusader Kings 2 was also very well received on...
Tons of good games this year.
Game of the year: Crusader Kings 2, played twice as much with this game than any other game on my list. And made me discover that I love games like Europa Universalis...
One of those things every PC game must do is allow us to rebind our keys. I always play with my numpad, it's frustrating to play with wasd. You can rebind the wasd keys but nothing else...
I've...
Orcs Must Die was in my top five last year. OMD2 is just too similar to it to be in it this year. Sure, I had a lot of fun with it but nowhere near as much as last year.
Crusader Kings 2, put 120 hours into that game followed by 80 hours in Vicky 2 and 40 in EU3. Yeah, the first months of the years I've discovered and played nothing but Paradox games.
Other great...
An x360 controller for my PC was a good investment. Supporting keyboard+mouse is a requirement, but for games in which I don't have to aim, using my controller as an alternative is nice.
Set yourself a limit. For example, WoW costs about €13-15 a month. So you could spend €10 a month on your game if you play it a lot. In any case, I would not go over €15 a month.
Assassin's Creed was one of those games I did play with my controller.
From the moment that I have to aim, mouse + keyboard is way easier. But for third person melee/platform games like Tomb...
I spent a lot less money playing WoW than I do now. Then it was an expansion every two years + €15/month. And that was it.
These days I think I spend about €50 a month for various games.
Congrats! It's an amazing game and I'm glad to see that I will get a steam key.
Majesty is a game that I still play once every two years or so, it's brilliant.
The sequel was good too but nowhere near as good. I agree with Berzee, the sequel misses the originals charm. I...
98:
Starcraft, Unreal, Commandos, Grim Fandango, Fallout 2, Age of Empires, Baldur's Gate, Thief.
Yeah, it's an awesome year for PC games. It's also a year where I just started playing games. My...
It's a great year for PC gaming. Some great indie games, a few really good blockbuster games and my first kickstarted game that has been published (FTL) turns out to be awesome.
Most innovation is...
7 Kingdoms.
And it's a shame, it was a great game. One of those few games that were actually innovative.
I've just reached a room full of dynamite. Damn, that part is frustrating. I'm giving up for today or I'll be stressed out completely.
It's been a while since I've hit my save button *every...
