ah, I thought that would be it, but the game seems overly sensitive to input on my system, so maybe that's the reason I couldn't figure it out (a lot of things behave as if I double-click or -tap....
I did wonder, but it just seemed like a fixed outcome because the person didn't even seem to be there at all, just the voice.
Are you allowed to kill robots and turrets on a non-lethal run?
Finished Deus Ex: HR (~37 hours). First thought is that I wonder which ideas they had to drop. It feels like it was intended to be have more areas and other things.
Second thought is that the story...

Well, for the first time ever, Windows Event Viewer was useful; I could see that the last thing that happened right before the reboots was that a service related to my Lexmark AIO driver was trying...

Well, great. When I enter the train to Tai Yong Medical (Deus Ex: HR), my computer reboots... Never seen that before, and the game itself has been running very smoothly until now too.

I took a wee break at that point too. That was well over a year ago...
I think I got pissed off that the librarians didn't react how I had been told they would. They just killed me and then the...

15 hours of Deus Ex: HR (I did start over, but I think that only accounts for maybe an hour). It is growing on me, although I can't help feeling that Detroit feels oddly lifeless compared to New York...
The Pinball FX2 tables are also discounted on Steam right now. 33-75%

It looks like I bought the game and the two DLCs and then Missing Link a good while later (I don't have the extra stuff either).
That was in 2012. I really need to stop buying stuff I'm not going...

Thanks. Looks like the sniper rifle can be found elsewhere, at least.
Also, it's clearly not the Augmented Edition I have (way too expensive).

hmm. Maybe that's what I got. I can't remember anymore.
oh, right. But I imagine I would have to start over then.
Do you get those items later on? Not that they seem overly useful, really....

oh. I don't know if they've made changes again recently (haven't played since 9.0), but I thought it'd gotten much better.
But then, maybe that's just because I know how it used to be.

Deus Ex: HR. It'd only been in my backlog for two years or so...
Not really sure what to think so far. I don't think I've ever met a cover mechanic that I liked, so that's one problem. Not that...

That was quick. Someone likes to live dangerously.
I'm not sure they are.

I don't really know what this is, but since I haven't dared to add it to Steam myself, this thread is probably a good place for it.
It has 18 reviews on Steam. 3 of them...

Played a bit of Hard Reset, another one from the backlog. I rather like the way it looks, and all the explode-y stuff and secrets and things, but I kind of wish it was a different game in the same...
I've been offered fiber recently and it seemingly doesn't come with a router because you apparently don't need one.
I couldn't say if all fiber is like that, though.

I was actually just thinking about that. I suck at remembering to take breaks and since I did something to my chair or my monitor or both a while ago (and I can't figure out if things are too high or...

Up to 111 hours of Creeper World 3 according to Steam. And I still can't get through the Farbor mission. It's rather too different from the types of missions you've played until then and I can't...

The way I see it, when you use one copy of a game, whether that's activating a key or installing a DRM free copy, then you can't (i.e. shouldn't) give away any other keys/copies. That seems the most...

I don't really understand why gifting keys has been frowned upon. After all, it hardly matters to the devs whether you use a key or if someone you know does; you paid for it.
25-08-2014, 10:42 AM
Well, Humble did implement the gifting system for individual games when they did the link-to-Steam thingy, so I wouldn't think they mind. I'm not quite certain, but it also seems like they don't do...
Godzilla. Well, that was certainly ... crap. I rather liked the design of the containment zone, but it deserved a far better movie.
Also, aren't the non-Godzilla monsters severely inspired by some...

heh. I never tried the earlier games. Maybe that's a good thing.
3 feels like the end result of something that has been refined over time until they got the various mechanics just right.

yeah, I had the impression it was tower defense of a sort, but that really doesn't do it justice.
