Yes, but in the real world, there's the flipside where some women are not victims of abuse, and where those that are have lives beyond being victims. Or handle their abuse differently than being...
She addresses this at the end of the video with the argument that if games routinely include fictional or even outright fantastical features anyway (dragons, anti-gravity, cosmic horrors, what have...
Please remove this. If only because seeing links to "20 Hottest WAGs of Tennis Players" beneath articles on a site that has taken a rather firm stance against misogyny, sexism, etc, is kind of weird....
I'd also like to express my dissatisfaction with the "More from the web" thing. I like being able to immediately read the comments after reading the article, but now there's this huge and completely...

"We deleted the Borderlands 2 post earlier today because John got it all wrong. He is an idiot. Loveable, though."
I used it within a context that I presumed would understand what it referred to. As in, a seminal games journalism article (in combination with the word "Bow"), not a black man. I had the idea that...
Thanks for the answers all, some helpful suggestions in there! Especially what Unaco mentions, emergent "rules" that are not part of the game originally but make sense within its theme. That's the...
Huh? Why not?
So I was re-reading Bow, nigger recently, and was fascinated by the description of what I'd call an in-game ritual for lack of a better term (in Jedi Knight 2, the players bow to each other in...

There's StarJeweled, a map where you gather energy by playing Bejeweled, using the energy to make units which then battle it out with the other team's in a tug-of-war style arena. There's a hide and...

@Abacus Finch: I'm not a "BioWare fan", I just think your line of reasoning is wrong and intend to point it out. Your latest point (BioWare condemning those who unlock Javik) does not support either...

(I thought the problem here was that Bioware claimed that the DLC was developed after the game was finished, but some assets being present on the disc supposedly disproving that. Glad we got...

Exactly! So the assets already existed in AoE2! Surely I am on to something here?
Feel free to not ignore the rest of my argument, too.

Remember Age of Empires 2? It had this unit in it, called "saboteur", but you could only access it via the map editor and it wasn't available in regular games. Then came the expansion, The...

I justified that to myself by reasoning that, if I had the chance to end a war in which billions had died and in which my allies and best friends were fighting a hopeless battle right now, I wouldn't...

Huh, that's really interesting. If that's true, it does explain why the ending feels a bit disconnected from the series as a whole, but I can see why they changed it anyway. I mean, sure, dark energy...

Harbinger is there in the final battle! Firing his giant laser in your face.
And yeah, I'm curious about Haestrom as well. I could see that working as DLC, though. I hope that plot thread gets...

I read the thread. If I understand correctly, the ini edit unlocks the character as part of your team, but not the other DLC content (mission etc). Which was my point.

No one is denying there's files related to this DLC in the main game. The discussion is about whether that alone (so, without all other content in the DLC) is enough to go all "ON-DISK DLC".

Is this sarcasm? Obviously they're due your payment if you use their product that is only legally available in exchange for money.

Which is kind of hard if the city moves? That was my point. I don't think any of the currently available engines would play well with such a thing.

Bosmer live in giant trees that are walking cities (though they do have "normal" cities as well). While I'd love to play a game in a world where such things existed, I doubt it's technologically...
It's okay to not like things!
Really, people have different tastes, however much that may sound like a cliche. Stop playing the game and move on. No problems!

What I did: I had 3 mine templates, 3 EMP grenades and 3 gas grenades. Run out of cover, put an EMP mine high up on the wall near where the moving turrets pass, shoot it when a turret flies along to...
