I would agree that more variety would be nice. The NC Max does have its AP grenade launcher though, which in my view makes it a slightly better max than the others.

I agree that having a Platoon more often would be good, you can do so much more with 3 or 4 squads. Insomniac so i didn't sleep last night, i joined a platoon and tried to cap indar, we got about 70%...

I'm definitely not a pro at this game, but i have noticed that Vanu Maxes are far less threatening than TR, or probably NC (i only play NC so its harder to compare).

My main gripe is rocket pods....
