Eh, I had no trouble believing that 1) Norrell would have made sure it was never an equal relationship, and would never have stopped interfering in whatever Strange was doing, and 2) Strange knew...

Aaand that's Dragon Age: Inquisition finally beaten, after sitting on the last mission for far too long. Having completed it, uh, that ending was a bit crap, actually. :( It really did feel as if...

Uhhh... yeah, sounds as if you probably should be doing that. All the time. For every game. :P
Normal remains fine for me. I went to Skellige to follow a certain side quest in Novigrad, and nearly...

I can see why they must have done it, after how many people complained about Unity. (I wonder how many of the people bitching about the downgrade were whining about Unity being "unplayable"?) But my...

Sigh. Novigrad isn't bad, but damn, it makes me wish I had Assassin's Creed: Unity installed (I'd reinstall it right now if it wasn't a 50 GB download, ouch). The "largest city in the north"? Pity...
I played it on PS3 and that was still better than The Wild Hunt can manage. I'm sure GTA's world is probably much smaller, but still, it's the sort of thing you can't help but keep thinking of.
They're great shots, although I think one thing I love more and more about The Witcher 3 is it's a game which looks as pretty as GTA V but where the story isn't absolute shit. Not trolling (much) - I...

This. It is the closest thing we've got to Dragon's Dogma on PC, and the terrain is almost as good - not quite as vertical, but more detailed and much, much bigger - although God, I still miss...

Oh, I know that. I just think while it is an interesting idea in some respects I think it's also a little too obviously an excuse to have hot babes, daft costumes, tits, etc. and say "But it's meant...

Oi, spoilers. :P Haven't got far enough to see her again. Though I don't care that much - never bothered with Roche's plotline in TW2 (why on earth would I want to help the secret police and a racial...

I would say it definitely has something of that same feel to it, yes.
I think it's more running it at 4K that's demanding. :P Again, it's fine maxed out at 1080 for me, and with the latest patch it's even playable with Hairworks on (on an AMD card).

I'd say it still requires some level of commitment to get the most out of it - the story quests can be short, but they can also lead straight into the next one - as in you can stop and save, but...

This too. I did laugh out loud at "...but when oi talks t' meself, they says oi's barmy!" An easy joke, but it worked. Though I liked that they were both ultimately serious - frying pan not deadly...

I'd be surprised if it ever existed to this extent; democratisation of and increasing ease of content creation has got to mean there's far more available to us than previous generations. I'm an...

This, at least to some extent. I'm not daft, I can see why people disliked Assassin's Creed: Unity and its mad adherence to the holy Ubigame formula. It is very much design by bullet point. But... at...

It's just the way the game 1) gives Geralt the option - even pushes you towards it, arguably - to comment "Oh, wow, you're being nice" after he's openly bitched about the war and its effect on...
The default armour does look a bit weird, yes. You do swiftly start picking up pieces in alternative styles, or diagrams for the making thereof, mind.

Nilfgaard are viewed by most of the peasants as the bad guys, and Emhyr is not a terribly nice man, but they're not really presented as especially worse than anyone else in the books, IIRC. The game...

I played one of the mobile games first, and couldn't believe how pointless the commander felt when I played 2 on PC. Completely and utterly superfluous. The campaign does nothing remotely interesting...

I hate getting into no-it-didn't yes-it-did arguments because I r dum, and I miss things easily, but... I was specifically watching for this, and to the absolute best of my knowledge it was not...

Haha, see, that did actually make me laugh - a "let's get the serious hero to do very unserious things" bit that didn't last too long and had a couple of decent lines.
Mild spoilers, I guess:...

On the Baron's quest line; I haven't finished it, I've just done the two successive Significant Bits that take place at night, then gone off doing some more sidequests before I tackle the next part,...

Please to point out the UE3 or Cryengine-based games with an "open" world on that scale that look anywhere near as good. Seriously, I'm honestly curious if you're actually thinking of anything I've...
It's not the few hours that puts me off, it's - going by what I've read - the idiotic storytelling, ultra-simplistic gameplay and no compelling reason to replay it. As I often like to say, Vanquish...
