It does have some kick-ass fights.
Personally, I'm quite happy to look past the whole "no guns" thing. I don't even need a justification for it - it's wuxia in post apocalyptic us badlands.....

Knowing their previous form, Just Cause 3 for GOTY.
Ok. Sweet. Everyone should buy those then.
Yeah, I guess. Maybe they should go back and brush up episode 1 if it isn't that great, then use it as a demo/hook.
TTG didn't use to be good at it though, I remember when they were giving...
Yeah, but if the first episode was free I'd definitely have tried it already. As it isn't free (though cheap, with a fair upgrade option, and with refunds available) I haven't tried it yet.
Well, they may not have aged very well. We have been spoilt by recent tv production values.
I remember Sharpe having epic battles in Spain, but it was probably 10 guys in a field in devon.... maybe...
Negative/Controversial topics tend to generate more view/comments everywhere, so I wouldn't take the number of posts on the fallout threads as a very reliable indicator.
Just cross your fingers...
I really want to rewatch all the Sharpe mini-series, but no time..
Another for the watchlist: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0139134/?ref_=nm_knf_i2
They have Jedi Knight for about 1 pound 50 and mysteries of the sith for 59p. Though I don't know how well they run on modern tech and steam won't have bothered to fix them like gog.
But, more in...
I like that they do this, though I wonder if they should just give away episode one in order to entice people.
PS/ Mysteries of the Sith is 59p on steam. It's stand alone right? Jedi Knight is 1.43 pounds.
That said, they may have compatibilty issues on newer hardware so check before buying. Or pay more...

Seemed to be my experience of it too, but I haven't played many other roguelikes to compare it to.
I only dabbled with it before getting distracted, so I never even saw the boss..
..but I was...
Oh, it was a terrible movie, but the effects were pretty good at the time. Basically you had to sit through 2 hours of crap story to get to the big cgi twister scene - which was the only reason for...

Well, if we're going to discuss the title sequence in detail...
I kinda like it. I hadn't really thought of it as a comic-in-motion, although now you mention it I guess it is. I thought of it as...
Even though my PC has zero chance of running the new battlefront, I've still obviously been infected by its hype because I ran across Battlefront 2 for about 2 bucks in the steam sale and I've been...
Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes!
The dead rising from the grave!
Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats...
In the threads I hang out in, I haven't really noticed many problems.
Other than the general internet tendency towards Snark.. and the fact that forum regulars have their in-jokes and I guess tend...
True. But there is zero hype, so i wonder how effective it'll be for them.
I mean, we don't even have a steam sale thread this time around...
Infact, I keep forgetting there is a steam...
Sticky: Have you tried Chariot? ...
Have you tried Chariot?
Mentioned in passing, but Mirror's edge is kinda climbing in a lot of places. Climbing by jumping from thing to thing.
Prince of Persia. Ico.
The best climbing in any game is of course in...
Maybe true, but once they're down to that level they'll often be there repeatedly, so if you have no plans to play it in the next few months then you'll probably get another chance.
And, while the...

What difficulty did you play on, because I remember Doom (well, Doom 2 to be precise) being pretty hard. I can't imagine getting through any level dying only 6-7 times, let alone the whole game.
I always wanted games with everything in them... (open world games with great combat, stealth, rpg mechanics, walking around in ships, etc..)... now we have them, i'm not sure it was a good idea.

If you liked episode 1 then yes.
Gameplay wise, it's basically more of the same. (I played the PC version, but I guess iOS is the same)
But, like episodes of a TV show, it's all about the story...
