EVE Online is $5 on Steam today.
My daughter wants to play Castle Crashers together, but I played that game to death a couple of years ago. Do any of you know of a PC (preferably free but I would pay for a good one) alternative that...
I have recently become a roller derby enthusiast, and, it seems to me, this sport would lend itself rather well to a video game. My searches are turning up nothing but a crummy iPhone game. Does RPS...
I would love to!
Tiny Bang Story - $3.40 (66%) -- Brilliant hidden object hunt. Discussed previously on RPS.
The Longest Journey & Dreamfall - $2.50/$5 (75%) -- Acclaimed adventure games before...
This idea has potential.
You can play multiplayer on a single PC.
This story-based sci-fi bundle looks really cool, but I'd hate to gamble with $40. Can anyone comment on any of the included games?
Gemini Rue
Date Warp
Bionic Heart
Planet Stronghold

On the subject of portable gaming, can anyone explain this to me? I watched the video and still don't understand. Something about buying games for more than they're worth. That's where they lost me....
I would love to make a game about divorce. I could see this working well as something like Digital: A Love Story. It would have multiple branching paths. The emphasis would be on the myriad ambiguous...
Yesterday, I discovered the masterpiece that is SPAZ (Space Pirates and Zombies). Is anyone else out there playing? Care to share some newbie tips?
If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it....
I've thought the same thing. It's not as mind-blowing as the other sales seemed. I've taken the optimistic perspective that maybe the summer sale is going to be the lesser sale while they continue to...
Yes, it's on. They also have all their iOS stuff on sale as of yesterday.
I thought the sale had already started. I'm seeing Dragon Age 2, The Sims 3, Crysis 2, and Shift 2 on sale among others. Are they doing additional discounts on the 4th?
I also picked up Avadon for iPad. I had tried the demo on PC and found it unimpressive. The biggest problem for me is that the art is pretty generic. I found that this didn't really matter on the...
I would be interested to know which you think are the good ones and why. I'm trying to dig back into some older CRPGs since I was a young, stupid JRPG-fanboy back then.
I really enjoyed reading Head First HTML a few years ago. I'm not sure how current it is, but it's incredibly accessible and even fun!

Answered my own question. As best I can tell, AC2 still has the DRM of death, but Brotherhood did not include said DRM.
The UbiShop (apparently, that's a thing) has the Assassin's Creed bundle for $30 today only. How's the DRM on this? Is it that horrible despicable always-on variety?
Anyone have any inside info on the Summer Steam sale? Was that a one-time thing, or are they just tweaking the timing this year?
I can confirm the BFBC2 Vietnam on D2D will work with BFBC2 on Steam. Thanks, DarkNoghri!
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam is $6 at D2D. If I'm not mistaken, I should be able to just plug the code into my Steam copy. Can anyone confirm?
I'm on a mini-vacation at the moment and staying a single night at a hotel. I installed Splinter Cell: Conviction on my Macbook with the idea I would finally start it. Did you guys know Ubi still...
Interplay stuff is 50% off at GOG through July 4th.
Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, Freespace 1 & 2, Giants: Citizen Kabuto- $2.99 each
I would like to try something like this for kicks. I have never been one to try especially hard to challenge myself in games, but perhaps this sort of challenge would be good for me. I need to...
