Give it a shot. It was altered to run at a consistent speed, seems fine to me and I've played maybe a dozen missions in it.

The wrench in Bioshock was pretty good, Goldeneye had the best throwing knives ever (except Soldat, but that's not an FPS.)

It's sort of like XCom-lite research & strategy + GTA city sandbox.

I look at Syndicate/Wars like Dune 2/C&C. The original games have a more timeless look, but the sequels made a laundry list...

Was all up in the cheats as a kid! It's nice to go back to it and see the kind of depth the game actually had, great world building and scenarios.
