I liked the way the old Rainbow Six games handled perma-death.
You had to pass each mission, but you could choose to replay it if you so chose. The emphasis was placed on you properly planning...

Damn, I came into this thread just to say that.
I can get behind this idea of "women can play sports too!", except that EA half-assed this to an extreme. There are a total of two faces, and each...

Doing that, even though your'e only half-serious, isn't a bad idea in that it would normalize the results across all the different games. Its kinda how baseball teams stack towards their home field:...

I thought this was a 4-man game.

Speaking of Android, there's a package available in the Market called GemRB that should let you take Baldur's Gate with you on the road.
Kind of scary to think that a game that once came on 5 CDs...
D'oh! This is what I get for skimming.
It also shows up more than once, which is kinda sad :(

I just finished it around midnight, and aside from the boss battles, its was worth of the effort to play it.
My biggest complaint in comparing DX:HR with the original is that Human Revolution just...
I'm disappointed that nobody on RPS has mentioned that the Dopefish has finally made his stupidly triumphant return.

Most racing games, at least the ones that don't use powerups, can get by with an automatic motor and the arrow keys.

In that case, curse Amazon US last October when I was trying to read it...

If you can find it, try digging up a copy of the source material for the game and the movie: "Roadside Picnic" by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. It makes the random philosophy more contextual than the...

Whelp, looks like I've recorded the first loss, to ColOfNature. Derptastic play on my part. And YouTube recording crashed my game too :(

I'd love to do this, and maybe I can get a few meatspace friends in to have two good divisions, what with this weekend's sale. A week is a good timeframe -- as long as the games aren't disrupted by...

Tracers are super-useful with the Carl Gustav, since it provides a lock-on. Also the easiest way to take out choppers, since you spawn with a few clips of tracers and only a handful of CG rockets.
Yet for reasons I can't fathom, the more recent CoDs have all had some degree of collection challenge in the campaign.
