That was amusing :)

@Rirdeg - whoops :)
I think you are right in what you say. Though I feel that working on SR is an important factor when starting out and gaining higher license levels. And a lot depends on your...

Thanks for the feedback and info :)
I'll have a think on it. Might continue to TT the Skippy, but Race in the MX-5 Cup (yup, the C license one) and get more traffic management experience. Will...

Sorry to hear iRacing didn't work out trjp. Though please don't hose your SR, especially if it affects others in anyway. That would be a rather ungraceful way to bow out. Leave it intact, so at least...

Three wide at one point, nice :)
I'd be the car at the back getting further behind :P
I had the first sim by Papyrus, Indy 500. Mouse and keyboard on an Amiga 500. I did a whole lap...

Wow, that crash - like Spa in '98 :P
Just did another race in the Skippy @ New Hampshire - decided to start from the pit to avoid first lap issues. Had one spin being distracted by a car going...

Think I read, or maybe heard on a YouTube vid (Empty Box maybe) that iRacing had hired someone to work on and improve crashes - but I don't recall if it was said this was cosmetic or actual physics....

Did 2 x TTs and a Race in D-Class Skip Barber today, @ New Hamshire.
Managed both TTs with only one off track in each. Race wasn't so good. Avoided the first lap Shenanigans and ended up in 5th....

@Bismarck That does look fun. Seen some other vids on it too. May have to invest :)

Honestly, I'd rather have the lowest iRating at the moment. I'm looking to improve my license out of D and into C, and I'd rather be gridded at the back of the field and not have to resort to pit...

trjp - SR gain or loss is based on a average of your past races (some one said on the forums it was 15). Have a lot of clean races that "bumps out" a bunch of dirty ones, and the SR gain will be...

SR promotes clean racing...which for many may equate to boring racing. I guess once you've built up a buffer of SR you can risk spending some of it in close racing.
Not done any Oval, but I...

iRating isn't tied to SR. He can be as fast as he likes and finish in on the podium every race, but if he gets there with lots of incident points he won't progress out of rookie. Driving safe is the...

Some of the missions can be hard, and I think there are some balancing fixes they will need to do.
However, make sure your not under-geared (upgrade gear that is much lower level than you), and...
@SephKing - those shots look fantastic!

Apart from one instance where I wondered solo into a much higher level area (and didn't manage to wonder out alive), what level I was just didn't matter much of the time. Leaving me free to...
I read this thread a fair bit. Time to share my own.
