Some Rome II
Red Orchestra 2
I haven't played as Rome yet, so I've got no experience when it comes to their struggle against the 'barbarians', but playing as Parthia has been a real challenge in that way. Until you crush them,...
Patch 3 beta is out. This is a big one
Well, to be fair, Total War is the name of the game. If you don't want to go to war, well... you probably won't enjoy it. The battles are what the game...
In my current game as Parthia, someone destroyed Rome, and they've risen again....
Pretty much all my performance issues have been fixed up; campaign FPS still isn't great but it's decent enough. Battle FPS seems to have gone up a lot, I just fought a couple pretty large battle...
Big beta patch came out today, gonna try it shortly.
Mmmyup, there's a dude with a spear punching right through it. Damn you, now that's all I see haha. Hard to get a good battle shot in Total War games without clipping.
Right, I do understand that aspect and understand why my biggest western rivals are out-teching me, but even the Ming, Zhou, Manchu, etc. have surprisingly advanced far beyond me, though not nearly...
I'm liking this game a lot. I too didn't get into EUIII but, absolutely loved CKII and I was surprised at how easy it was to ease into. The tutorial this time around is awesome.
I've been playing...
Well, not trying to be an ass or anything, but neither of those are RPGs really. I mean, they both have RPG elements, but I don't think I'd put them alongside Skyrim or games like that. But anyway,...
Very much on the fence about this game. I love the Shadowrun world, but I very much prefer the super dirty run-down 80's aesthetic of the pen and paper RPG. For all the praise the game's getting as...
This is looking awesome, Amnesia set on the moon, essentially. I liked Dead Space, but this looks much more along the lines of what I'd want a horror-game in space to be. Some points from their site:...
Like this show a lot. His intro always makes me laugh. "Hello- in 1673..."
Also seconding RadioLab and Hardcore History. Dan Carlin's other podcast focused on modern politics, Common Sense, is...
"Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment."
Ah cool, I missed that. The whole 'exclusive' not actually meaning 'exclusive' but just 'timed-exclusive' or 'exclusive-to-this-parcticular-console-not-counting-PC' is confusing the hell out of me....
Witcher 3 looks sweet, only issue is his armor. Just looks really uncomfortable and awkward. I hope they have a lot of options as far as armor goes, and have some more realistic looking stuff like in...
Well done man, you oughta share this over at the Paradox Plaza forums, and maybe /r/crusaderkings on Reddit. I'm sure it would find a lot of readers there that could make use of it.
You guys see this yet?
I have gained the content trait. Two more years, I wonder where they'll go. Theocracies would make every county-holder playable, so I'd expect they'd expand on that and...
Been playing this a lot since it came out. Loving the new expansion. I've been playing as the Zoroastrians, and I just reformed the Persian Empire under a Zoroastrian King of Kings. HAIL OHRMAZHD!...

Thanks for reminding me about this, I haven't played it since a few updates back. Looks like there's a lot of new stuff to check out.
