I can't say I agree. There are action games (and RPGs) where success is based on the players ability to time the weapon swings, notice the secret buttons on the walls. I'm thinking of a game along...

not definite, but possible
Mark of the Ninja had much more to it. Deadlight was pretty limited in what you do with your guy. There are cool gadgets to equip in Ninja that let you tailor the game to how you want to play. While...
As far as I know you don't have to pay Matrix Games to redownlaod in the future. If you register your key with them you can log into your account and download your game again.
Oh I'd agree with that. I would consider that part of the game mechanics, not strategy tips.
Not sure why there is an argument about price gouging for a computer game. It is clearly a luxury item that people do not need to buy if they don't feel it is worth it. I can understand people...
Isn't the fun figuring out your own strategy and tactics. The manual should let the player know everything they can do and its effect, but the player should decide when it is good to do something.
Hmm, when I slicked on the link I thought this was a Sword of the Stars thread. Maybe I accidentally clicked the wrong one...

I finally got my review copy of Elemental: Fallen Enchantress and spent the last week playing it. My review is up at: ...
I'm usually not a space game fan, but I sunk 40-50 hours into this one. Beat the game on normal. Took several attempts on the final battle to figure out what kind of build would beat it. This game is...
I was actually good about that one!! I found the first one pretty boring because it was so easy to win even on a harder difficulty setting. You could click without needing to think very much.
...
I wouldn't quite say I'm sad about it, more disappointed in myself that I don't seem to learn from past mistakes. But no, I never just played the strategic layer of the game. Perhaps if I ever...
Let's try to be strong and resist the next one, no matter what the reviews say. I still probably won;t have installed Shogun 2 by the time it comes out.
When you get a chance can you share your opinion about it from a single player perspective?
Hate is probably too strong a word. I am a repeat offender with the Total War series. I bought every single version except Napolean and it always goes the same way. Start a new campaign, battles get...
Unity of Command has good AI. The mechanics are pretty simple so it was probably much more manageable to program an AI that understands how to play compared to a game like Civilization. The AI is...
Wargame European Escalation 66% off at Steam
I bought WAY too much.
Mafia 2 + Jimmy's Vendetta
Saints Row: The Third
Shogun 2 + Rise of the Samurai
Crusader Kings 2 + Sword of Islam
Binding of Isaac + Wrath of the Lambs
From Dust

Escape From the Mindmaster for the Atari 2600. It played on the Atari via the Starpath Supercharger - a device that connected a cassette tape player to the Atari 2600. They had several cool games. ...
I have mixed feelings about it. The thing that bothers me is that when you group some units together, they don't move at the pace of the slowest unit. This means that your fast archers may outpace...
Forgot if I played on normal or hard, but it was incredibly easy for the majority of the game.
Like most shiny new games, my initial impresions were good. It was fun to explore the dungeons, find...
Both Bioshocks for $7.50 at Amazon:...
I liked it. Looked fine on my 1980 x 1020 monitor. Some good simple fun for a couple bucks.
If it's cheap I'd say go for it. I think I preferred the first, but perhaps because it was new to me then. It took a couple hours to get into the story in the second, but I eventually got there. I...
Hmmm, I don;t have that. My sale is: 40% OFF SPECIAL EDITIONS.
It states I am in week 2 or 4. Maybe the other sale was in week 1?
