Really not wishing to impugn your good name in any sort of way, but
both just made me giggle (in a manly sort of way (because I am a man)). Now getting strange looks from...

Had another grand time last night - I think it helped that my squad mates were wonderfully skilled and proficient...it's easier to do well when you're properly supported. Hopefully see some of you...

Sadly, I couldn't play last night, and I'm unlikely to have any time today either. Hope plenty of you are planning to be online on Friday and Saturday though!
I agree that some rotation would be...

Definitely the most fun (and most success) I've had playing BF4 tonight - thanks guys! Hopefully we can keep the numbers up...

Yeah, it would be a shame if we were unable to get on to the server we're paying for!

If you mean Operation Locker, I think I agree when you try and cram 64 people in there.
But with only 30 people or so I find it a lot more enjoyable.

Monies paid, PM sent.
Stuck at work till about 7, alas, but hope to jump on shortly thereafter.

Would be willing to contribute for an initial month...

Does any one have any tips for the newbies among us? I spend 75% of my time getting killed by people I haven't even seen, which gets dispiriting quickly.
Of the remaining percentage, about 15 is...

I would also probably be willing to contribute to a server, depending on how much it would be. Got bored of waiting to join servers with you guys last night...

I'm a complete Battlefield newbie, so if you'll excuse me bumbling around with you, my Battlelog ID is UrsaAlba. Please add me!
I think (hope) it probably is broken, slightly. I can kind of see what they're aiming at, and I think it could be a good change, with a smart new navigation bar up at the top. But it's not quite...

As I understand it (and please correct me if I'm wrong), suppression has been heavily modified in BF4, and will be restricted to a visual effect which will make it harder to maintain accuracy. I...

Well I "missed" BF3, as until April of this year I didn't have a PC that would run it. That's now no longer the case, and as a complete Battlefield novice I'm quite looking forward to getting stuck...
Didn't stop Bungie showing off Destiny, which according to Ars Technica at least is also slated for 2014...

I have exactly the same solution - and exactly the same 'solution'. But I'm never available on Sundays, so unless training happens on another night I will just cope!

I like this post!

Of course, if people want to write a sprawling class guide, then by all means do so! I know I'd enjoy reading it.
But yes, let's keep the one currently being worked on as a more light weight...

True. Can you insert internal hyperlinks in a Google Doc? Then there could be an initial contents page that takes you straight to the class/vehicle that you're interested in.

Similarly to WallyTrooper, I can't edit the Google doc while I'm at work.
My addition is just a comment, however, so it doesn't matter really.
There are currently two styles of entry:

Personally, I liked the idea of new threads that contained just the relevant information and were then locked...but that's just me.
23-04-2013, 05:29 PM
I think we need to make it clear that one thread is how to join...if we just had an "RPS Vanu" and "RPS Terran Republic" thread that wouldn't be entirely self evident.
23-04-2013, 04:41 PM
It depends - I always tend to favour brevity, in which case I'd merge the Giraffes and Traitors into one "RPS on Planetside" thread, keep the outfit guides as one thread, and stick TACGIR in either...

Jesus_Phish, you explain things more eloquently than me.

I think the guide is great! I have one question - should a guide to non-weapon certifications be included in the same document, or exist as a seperate one?
I think that they should be combined -...
