Hehe 'my' method is convoluted sure, but once its set its set. Its a new res you can pick easily in game options. Also, like Mr JellyFish pointed out, it actually is ss, unlike injectors....

If you have an nvidia card try this out:

Goto your nvidia control panel >> Display >> Adjust desktop size and position
Choose aspect ratio scaling, and perform scaling on GPU
Apply

Now...

DaftPunk that 3rd shot from Afterfall is pretty sweet -- and some really cool looking stuff from Ravaged Seph. I'll have to keep these games in mind.
