I have 50 Int, 50 Att, 30 Faith, and a +4 Pyromancy flame, so I'm a beast. Plus my equipment increases number of casts and casting speed.

Being a mage is awesome. I can inflict over 500 damage with a single Lightning Spear if the enemy isn't resistant.

This is kind of a SPOILER, but:
There is a way to respec, though it is limited enough that you'd better have a clear idea of what you want out of it.

No clue. I'm a mage through and through. Dodging certainly is viable, although there are definitely bosses that will punish you for rolling willy-nilly without regard to the environment. I have heard...

I'm a filthy traitor who is playing it on his PS3, but here are some spoiler-free thoughts:
It's still tough as nails, but it definitely smooths over some rough edges. It subtly but effectively...

I'd say the most interesting thing about the plot is the intersection of environmental details, NPC conversations, and the covenant system as those elements relate to Gwyndolyn....

Why not just say what it is? Good or bad, nobody wants to plug a code in if they've already got the game in question.

So no answer to the question, but I'm not sure it matters. The online features in HOMMVI really do seem to be tacked on. The tutorial sure as hell didn't explain anything about the Dynasty system or...

To be 100% clear, I was aware of this as I clicked the button. I'm operating under the assumption that these are largely extraneous things foisted upon the game by Ubi executives and that they have...

So I (perhaps unwisely) decided to pick this up in the current Steam sale. Anyone know of any methods for enabling the Dynasty weapons in Offline Mode?
If you like RPGs, I highly recommend Bravely Default, Pokemon X/Y, and Shin Megami Tensei IV. There's a pretty big backlog of DS games, as well. I'd add Chrono Trigger to the list if you haven't...

My tank works quite well! I was only able to beat that Naga warlord at the top of the lighthouse thanks to his high HP, high armor, and a piece of armor with a reflect damage attribute. The key is...

I got past him in no small part thanks to your advice. Thanks!

I did not realize I could enter that wagon! Also, good tip about the resting. Thank God for counterintuitive but beneficial rules.
Also, I'm seriously digging this game, despite some of the...
I just found out that you can use off-tv play with Wii games. Unfortunately, the tablet does not count as a Classic Controller (for those titles that support it) which seems like a huge missed...

Alright, I'm stuck at this earth elemental guardian in the elemental forge. Is it possible to backtrack and go somewhere else? In particular I'd like to find some trainers for a few skills that...
I think this time it's just that it seems Nintendo is finally being abandoned even by the hardcore. The Wii was a huge success largely because they managed to appeal to the non-gaming masses. Of...

I've never played any other Might and Magic RPGs, so I can't say. I certainly haven't seen any sprites. The first town is called Sorpigal, though.

Seriously? Dang. That's...not what I was looking forward to.
I'm currently fighting Naga in a lighthouse. I've certainly seen Naga (or their non-union equivalents) in games...

I decided to pick this up on a whim, as I've been itching for a more system-focused RPG lately. I've played about two hours and have liked what I've seen so far.
I don't have any experience with...

Nero is Runemaster, basically a Paradox version of Skyrim. 50-100 hours, single player, Norse-inspired RPG in which some people are trying to bring about Ragnarok and others are trying to avert it. ...

Thank you! I'll worry about Moore's opinions when I no longer feel I have to worry about being put on a watchlist for reading his work.

Hate to bring up consoles on the PC board, but Infamous on the PS3 is great and pretty much identical to what you're looking for.

I'm going to predict an RPG in the Clausewitz engine. There are no provinces because they aren't necessary for the mechanics; you'll be moving your character/party/whatever around the map and...
