It might be worth mentioning that most people in the UK have nowhere near what I quoted - that's the top-price absolute max package available (upto £50/eu70 a month) - and it's not available to...

Sadly a lot of what I post is driving games - games which tend to have a lot of text on-screen (laptimes, splits, leaderboards and other crubbins) - but you're right that so long as your...
There's a twitch dev cast coming tomorrow (28th) with new stuff promised - including 'dedicated servers' apparently
Sticky: Use the back-seat view? :)

There are, indeed, 2 surface options - both, in the case of the 405 at-least, come with a Scalextric-style 'slot' (that car will NOT slide, it's GLUED to the surface!)

405 > Celica > Escudo > 208 by some margin
The modern Pikes Peak is a bit of a laugh really - lots of tarmac. Still requires a silly amount of balls but it's not the same event - I wonder if...
The noise level in Logi wheels is something I always forget about until I come to use one - I really could not have that shit going on at home at all, too loud and bolted to a desk tends to me it...

If every crash was bad - we'd not need the repairs, mechanics, team manager etc. etc. ;0
Anyone going quickly and NOT making mistakes is - erm - probably cheating - some incidents are inevitable...
There are a number of issues here - many of which are not new - some of which clearly are.
2 years ago I came across devs who'd sold games on Desura and never been paid a penny - simply because...

You definately get away with some silly stuff and yet can be DNFd for trivial stuff too - I've restarted with my car in midair over 100ft drops and been DNFd for scuffing a snowdrift.

I'm also sorta not wanting to get TOO far into the setups because >IF< they fix the engine-braking thing, it will change how you want the cars setup quite a bit (you'll need a lot more braking!!)

Another really good session - a few things I think I need to say
EVERY car feels different and you MUST dig into the tuning stuff because some seem deliberately setup 'wrong' and small changes can...

DR is one of those games where you get into the groove and think "my this is amazing" but then you make a mistake and it all goes completely wrong and you're done-for. The faster you go - the bigger...
Some PCars 'road' cars are not that brilliant (IMO) but I've yet to drive a race car which wasn't excellent tho and - let's be honest here - on a racetrack, you want to race in race cars (road cars...

The co-driver is generally OK - I think they talk a BIT too much and you do have to pay attention to weed-out the "where the hell does to the road go" from the general hints on cutting corners,...
Looking for a 'period' DTM mod I chanced across the VLN 2005 pack for this - which is brimful of rare gems including a variety of E30 M3s (sadly no 190 to match it - seems I'll have to convert the...
Licenses haven't held them back *coughs* Azure Circuit (Monaco) and Sakitto (Suzuka) :)

I went back and played a bit of WRC3 - because I remembering it also had a weird thing with gears - but it's rather different to DR.
Neither game models the effects of a downshift which would...

sOOOOO - bit more time with DR and - erm - erm - there are issues I think...
The default settings for the pad are shite - they are Shift2-levels-of-bs - and the degree of controller tweaking isn't...

I'll have to toy around with means of reducing rez - obviously the games I play are 1080p, any downsizing of that is going to look "less than ideal" and once you've lost that pin-sharpness you're on...

That really boils down to a lot of slightly cranky freeware and 'Sony Vegas' - which is pretty much what I suspected ;0

Gamesplanet/Metaboli are pretty legit - they've been selling digital games for a LONG time (they used to operate Atari's online store amongst others) - they are who I got Dirt Rally from in fact...

Anyone want to manage a trackday?
Trackday Manager is coming soon

Nascar 2003 joins RBR in being a pricey eBay purchase only
I hookied it last year because I assume it would be rather dated and ended-up playing it a LOT longer than I expected - it's not quite as...
Ah - I was just going to add £5 and sell some cards but that would be easier ;0
Note: You can still buy VRP vouchers which are absolutely the cheapest way to get RRR content.
