The addon 'United Offense' was even better, imho. I remember fierce fights in the Ardennes in winter and taking and defending a mansion, blowing up a coastal battery, ...
They made one mistake:...

MGS, yes the PC version. Though I don't remember much about it.
Q4's amputation scene.
X3: jumping to an unknown sector into a perfect void. Goosebumps!
But BF3? The only emotion...

I don't care for the 'story' in games anymore. Many are just the usual 'You Are The One To Save Us!'.
I like randomness a lot more. For example: Had FTL existed 10 years earlier I would have stopped...
'Refurbished' is another keyword to pay attention to, if you decide to get second hand PCs.
Probably a dumb idea, but how are your students equipped, hardware-wise?
If they all have a notebook, let them bring their notebook. To make things easier, let them run the same OS in a Virtualbox,...
Hmm... here's another problem: I can't bridge the AP and the LAN connection. I think it's because the AP is a 'Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport', not a physical device.
I have this Asus P8Z77-V Pro mainboard. I should be able to use the built in WLAN adapter as an access point for other devices.
Problem is, I can't get it to work. I enabled the...

How about playing Portal as GlaDOS?
Randomly rearrange rooms, place Weighted Companion Cubes (tm) and lovely turrets, annoy Chell with cynical comments and much more...
Modders, advance! ;)

I think it's rare because of control issues.
You can simulate a car and a plane quite well with a wheel and a joystick. A motorcycle you control by shifting your weight (at least at higher speed)...

It would make no sense whatsoever to announce HL3 in this ad, which is clearly focussed on Steam for the livingroom. I also remember some talk about decoupling Steam from Valve some time ago. And in...

Right click -> View Background Image -> Right click -> Save Image
At least that's how it works in Chrome.

Look what I found applying another filter (called Inkscape)
Also: The moon landing of 1969 was staged and Valves HL3 dev team moved to Area 51 2 years ago :D

Damn! I need a larger screen.
First, there was Lego.
Then there was TV.
When my parents bought a computer it was over.
First game I bought was Command and Conquer Red Alert including the addons. I've been playing on the...

Just get GIMP and Inkscape instead. Problem solved ;P
Seriously? This is like asking how to operate a sandbox...
Pro-Tip: It's an open world game! There are dozens of possibilities to get through (or around) a checkpoint. Please start thinking and be...
Little fighter comes to mind: http://www.littlefighter.com/
It's 2.5D, free and I remember it being crazy fun when played with three people hacking on one keyboard :D I think you can get up to 8...
Looks mostly fine to me. But actively collecting meld seems a bit odd since usually everything salvageable is collected at the end of a mission anyway.

Guess what: 90% != 100%
I think many people just don't get probability. They read 90% and in their head it's already 1.
I agree with the OP. But I think the bottleneck is the audio-visual...
It's in the name. A game in which you play a role... So basically every game. But for some reason it is connected with games in which you gain xp and stat numbers increase ;)
I want to add Quake 4. Getting your legs (or any limb) removed while being conscious is one of the most horrible things for me. Usually when something dangerous appears in this kind of games, you let...

Good news... I think.
Although with the HW2 Complex mod it's not really necessary to make a 'HD remake'. Aside from occasional crashes and 'out of sync' errors, I'm happy with it as it is.
I like it! Starting now, version control software is cool ;)

By the way: Do these diagrams show the median sale price including or excluding fees?

Splinter Cell did that pretty well, if I remember correctly. You could change the speed via the mouse wheel. It's a shame nobody picked up the idea for following PC ports.
