Looks interesting, nice music, hopefully it isn't the boring repetitive trudge Bastion was.

Looks interesting, nice music, hopefully it isn't the boring repetitive trudge Bastion was.
Brought to mind by a comment a few moments ago, whilst not entirely related to any particular aspect of a game, but the lack of just raw gameplay footage that publishers/developers release I find it...
Good news, SimCity 5 cities are at most the size of a medium city in SimCity 4.

First thought, wow those "cities" are tiny. So I will leave this here, watch before its deleted again.

Well Microsoft stopped funding further development on AoE: Online, and GPG hasn't had any new projects in the works since SupCom 2. I suspect the company was running on fumes, considering the Wildman...
I am intrigued, though clearly the game already has at least a bit to show off, shame more gameplay didn't make it into the pitch, so I will wait.
Bring on the people crying that this undermines...
People will have to change and adapt. This is the reason science, maths and engineering are so important, you have to become the person making robots, software etc, rather than the grunt being...
Still have my boxed copy of Imperialism, got Imperialism 2 somewhere aswell. I meant I wasn't overly fond of the changes they made to the sequel. Thanks for the link, going to have to check it out.
Shame it wasn't as good as the first game, but perhaps I have overly fond memories of Imperialism after playing it a lot in my youth.
Oblivion is a bad choice full stop, by virtue of it being a first generation 360 title. Why not pick something at the tail end of the console cycle, to show the actual state of current game graphics....
Well current real-time rendering techniques are a solved problem, the limitations are a result of hardware not the software's inability to produce "better" graphics.
Looks like Skyrim, you can force a higher shadow map resolution. Improving graphical elements like shadows are simply a matter of more memory and faster GPUs. Atleast the way we currently render them...
Linux has won, everywhere. Just not on desktops.
Well 720p is 1280x720, you often find console games with framebuffers of 1024x720 or 1024x600 or 1024x576, the list goes on of various resolutions consoles are actually pushing out. In the case of...
For start a lot of console games are rendered at sub 720p and upscaled.
Secondly I do not understand the logic, why cram the equivilent of a "high-end" PC in a next-gen console, when a "budget" to...
Again the map projection doesn't preserve area so its flat out inaccurate. And I didn't say the US stops at Texas.
Not even remotely accurate comparison for a start, Europe doesn't stop at Germany. And the map projection isn't one that preserves area. In fact Europe covers significantly more area than the US.
Grabbed it, its now fixed.
Just get the two expansions if you enjoy it, the rest is just throw away money grubbing crap that Paradox churns out for these games.
Not sure if anyone posted this but Sonic Generations is going for £4.99 on GreenManGaming, if you apply the code 'GMG30-DPLIM-DN831' you can grab it for £3.50. By far the cheapest I have seen it.
You say that on day 2 of 16-17 days of sales, yes brilliant deduction. Your original remark remains asinine.
Complain much? Buy the game elsewhere instead of moaning about it.
Is this all people do, let's complain about a sale not being a big enough discount, this defines entitlement.
Dishonoured
Sleeping Dogs
XCOM
Far Cry 3
Though I might skip XCOM due to Firaxis seem to be going down the route of shitty DLC again, much like CIV5, and we haven't heard anything of the...
Number 4, but I would prefer if they also redid the logo to match the rest of the cover, currently it looks out of place. None of the alternate covers really grab me though, but who cares its a box...
Just a note, you might want to fix the quotes, you have listed my username for stuff Rakeshark mentioned.
Not in this thread, but in other when the matter of Windows 8 and it's store has been...
