Have you played Expeditions: Conquistador? I should tick off most of the boxes you're looking for, though the worldmap can be a bit of a drag sometimes. But Kings Bounty: The Legend is also a great...
Finally finished my first EW game! Going through the stats at the end of the game where it lists my stats next to the average stats of the world, I noticed some strange discrepancies: the number of...
Thanks for all the suggestions! I've decided to buy the 'War of ages' bundle for everyone, so we can play some Men of War. Will look into Brutal Doom, never heard of it. And I'll look into (my)...
Almost that time of year again (yay!) and I was wondering a couple of things:
- How good is the multiplayer of the original Men of War? And can it be played with 6 to 8 people? I'm asking since...
Bought this expansion during the GMG sale, and man do I like it! Currently playing on Normal, and after a hard start-up, I feel pretty invincible right now. Gene mods & Mechs are really powerful,...

Ahh, yes, good ol' Pavlov! I do have a couple of those;
- A certain brand of detergent reminds me of playing Golden Axe, Double Dragon and The Simpsons at a friends house, since their PC was...

Great trips down the memory lane! I'll add mine as well, hopefully, but I'm looking forward to all the other stories that'll come up!

Dipped my toes in Dishonered, so it's a bit early for a WiT. But I noticed that stealthing is a bit odd; for example hiding under a table in broad daylight is a perfectly valid hiding place, and...
Killing Floor usually has their monsters dressed up for the occasion, which is always a nice excuse to revisit it and kill some Z's, errr "infected". Can't wait to this on the next LAN party again...
Dixit (already mentioned quickly by gwathdring) is a great party "game". The game doesn't really focus on winning, but more on getting inside other peoples mind. And it can be explained in about 2 ...

sonson, do you have a load order for your mods? I'm thinking about starting New Vegas again, and want to use (most of) the mods of your (great!) guide.

Well, I pre-ordered this game, so will probably/hopefully be able to tell you about it this evening. If I get further then the character/party creation that is :)
Well, let me counter all you nothing-buyers, for I bought:
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger
Dishonored + DLC
Just Cause 2 + DLC
DLC for Saints Row 3
I think the main thing changing is gamers getting older and older. The average gamer nowadays is what, 30+ ? And they have been around for a loooong time. Meaning they/we have seen it all before....
Thanks for mentioning this! I figured to take the risk for this price... Really loved the ROA series back in the day, and hopefully this stays true to the original (well, except for the UI ;)

Still playing loads of different things:
Just Cause 2: Finally bought it in the Steam Sale, and it's really enjoyable. Though I do like the sillyness of Saints Row 3 more. Speaking of which:

Some additions that I have backed:
Jagged Alliance: Flashback: A new Jagged Alliance game (reboot? ;) that is turn based and will be telling about the time before A.I.M. was...

I've been playing quite some games as of late, especially considering the weather here is great. I guess it's the fact that I find I somehow got more spare time now. Anyway:
Serious Sam 3: I...

Still playing Expeditions: Conquistador, and I'm almost at the end of it. Though I haven't been able to defeat Montezuma in his too close for comfort garden . The expedition part of the game is...
Regarding Battlezone; I seem to remember there being quite a lot of fan made patches and/or even entire rebuilds/free full games made to run on the more modern computers. I can't look them up right...

Somehow the random events remind me of the Realms of Arkania series a bit. Especially in the way they can seriously screw you over, with all the diseases, quicksand and wild animals around that can...

Hmm, interesting question!
One thing that has changed in the way I play games is the tendency to play games non-violent these days. I don't find the same satisfaction in gibs flying all around as...

Thanks Jonas! Never knew I could move again after pressing the "camp" button. Though I'll have to unlearn spending all my moves and then press "camp" :). And I might have to start again, for I have...

I've started playing this yesterday, so only a couple of hours experience so far, but I do like it until now. Which doesn't say that the game is perfect. The game is far from informative about a lot...
Aaaanaaaad it's done! And with at least 8k of Paypal monies, they might even reach a stretch goal! And the addition of having a good old map editor sure does sound good to me. Apparently, they'll...
