Looks suspicious. I'm quite sure I've read that the reason they didn't do a pc port was that it would require to re-licence the extensive song library which would be cost-prohibitive.

Do you remember the movie Thin Red Line? When the American troops finaly storm the Japanese camp and find most of the enemies unable to fight? I got a similar vibe from the final level of Spec Ops....
Damn, gotta play the final chapter again, I was about to watch the entire credtis as I usually do, but gaved up and hit 'skip' somwhere around the QA credits cause I was getting hungry. Strange, as...
Could somebody please explain the ending to me? Are there actually multiple outcomes? In my playthrough the final choice was to either turn the gun on yourself or at the imagined Konrad. I did...

I'm getting to the end of my second playthrough and I have the acton cam off at this point (also soldier voices) sadly :(
George, you seem to be on a quest for a pure strategy game, with nothing left to chance and pure clarity of mechanics. I don't know why you have this expectation from XCOM which indeed does have a...
That's all bunk, pretty much every strategy game has an optimal build order while at the same time leaving some wiggle room for variation and the same is true for XCOM. Labs are not remotely...
there are also the user scores, currently at 8.1 at metacritic. And the fact that the game is consistently in the Steam top 20. Look, just because you want to project an image of great intellect by...
Legitimate criticisms of XCOM, like behaviour of the strategic AI or map variety are one thing. But calling Jake Solomon a joke whou should never make a game again is a clear symptom of having...
Anyway, so I'm doing another stab at Classic Ironman. Month 3, Operation Burning Ring, terror attack in Marseilles. What do I get. Six Cyberdiscs, no less, each accompanied by a drone. No other alien...
And I'd wish you could drive tanks and call in airstrikes in XCOM... but guess what, the wishes of me or anybody else for that matter have little to do with the quality of the game. Internet forums...
Hey, what do you want, I'm 13, I think everything sucks
You want to play games in your living rooms on you TVs? What are you, some wannabe console-tards? You are supposed to play hunched at your desk with your eyes 30 centimeters from the screen, that's...
Samurai were essentialy middle-age guys with silly haircuts wearing bathrobes and sandals. Who would want them in a game?
It is utterly stupid to include a Luck stat in an rpg IMO. Guys, nobody is inherently lucky all the time...
I started playing again yesterday the patched version, now I notice that aliens (sectoids and thinmen) sometimes make a 'call' during their turn as if they wanted to say, 'guys, they're here!'. I...
FC1 has one of the best demos I remember: a level where you start out on the beach and climb up a side of a mountain among ancient fortifications. It demonstrated the game perfectly.
every time this discussion comes up I have the urge to scream from the mountaintops READ THIS

Because of my bit of listless skepticism? Gee.
You're probably not getting anything since a) it looks like they won't make it b) even if they do they are just some no-name upstarts who probably can't deliver what they promise.
I don't see how some guys opinion on what constitutes good science fiction is relevant in general. Especially if all that guy's got to his name is an upcoming PSN arcade game Dyad.
Having read John Walker's article from today I have to say that it's quite reasonable to worry about anything KS-related ;)
In the combat vid it just looks like inept erratic flailing. I think I prefer a game to have convincing and impactful attack animations than this supposedly realistic physics-based combat. But the...
oh c'mon, there needs to be interesting gasmeplay mechanics to actually play, this has virtually no gameplay, challenge, variety etc., it's just clicking. So don't judge players badly for it.
