And so ends my first season in the WIL. 3rd place in my division, too. Probably should have done better given my team was relatively advanced against most opposition but I'm just glad to not be getting caned.

Christer's fiddled with coach ranking to include Blackbox. Had a look at how we all placed and it seems a bit weird.

182 - Justa (48% wins)
419 - Ian (41% wins)
921 - Jim (46% wins)
934 - Rakysh (32% wins)
1123 - Janek (51% wins)
1229 - Laneford (39% wins)

It is so odd to see myself ranked so high considering my win % isn't all that hot in the box. I would think Janek, with his higher %, would be well ahead of me. Perhaps it has to do with a large number of games played at a high TV.

Yeah I guess it's still doing the "first five games don't count" thing or some variant thereof. I've always been better at low TV so that'd account for that.

I'd seen my rank had risen somewhat and thus instantly dismissed it as utter tosh.

Anyway, finished third in my WIL division. 3 wins, a draw and two defeats (the defeats coming to the two teams who finished above me.) Need to start scoring more though, 8 touchdowns in 6 games, and three of those came in one match against some lizards. Depending who ends up in this division next year and how much people get against me in inducements I'd like to think I have a chance of finishing in the top two and going up to the conferences next time out.

With Something Is Rotting's victory over That Be Bristle, my place in next season's WIL Premiership is safe (it was technically possible for me to go down on a tiebreak before that). Will probably end up finishing 5th, though 4th is a possibility if PeteW fails to win both of his last two games.

That's very odd. Maybe I've got an over-inflated opinion of my teams abilities and subconsciously pick harder coaches to play. I have been having a good run recently as well, so maybe there's a time based component to it.
