The reason I say that I'm not giving them out to new members is that all these free Steam gifts bring a crazy number of people out of the woodwork begging for keys. Now this may seem needy and harmless, but many people spam new forum accounts to get as many as possible. Then they use these keys to purchase TF2 keys and what not. Very similar to the whole Steam Xmas sale coal scam.

So no. I'm not giving them away to essentially spam bots who will then trade them away and never actually try out ArmA 3. Just do a quick google search for all these crazy numbers of people touting ArmA 3 keys.

Hey guys

Been a long time fan of ArmA, but I got burned heavily from buying ArmaA II full price just when it was released. Therefore I remain sceptic and would very much like to try it out before purchasing. Trust me, if I like it I will buy.

I have been reading Rock, Paper, Shotgun daily since it started and I can document I registered on the forums back in 2008 with this same username. The user database must have been swept clean since then, because I had to reregister my forum handle. If anybody requests proof I would be more than obliged to forward the original automatic mail, I received.

Sorry if you don't like new users requesting invites, but I have my social activities elsewhere on the interwebs. :(
