    Graviteam Tactics: Operation Hooper released

The new DLC for Graviteam Tactics (formerly Achtung Panzer: Operation Star) is out on Gamersgate:

(probably coming to the .com too soon)

RPS has written a lot of positive things about APOS over the years, and the game has a small but dedicated following of Grognards and wargamers who like their RTS to be more a simulation than resource-handling and 'micro'.

The change to a (semi) modern setting is very welcome, after having been solely focused on specific battles of the Eastern Front since the release of APOS. The setting of the 1988 battle in Angola between the Angolan army, supported by Cuba, and UNITA, supported by South Africa and the US, is something not often seen in war games, and is certainly 'obscure' enough to warrant a lot of interest for those of us interested in the more obscure theatres of war.

I am pretty sure Tim Stone would like to take a look at this one in the coming days too :)

Some screenshots to warm an old Grognard's cold, cold heart:

PS rumors are also out there about the next DLC being pre-Soviet invasion Afghanistan :)
