    RPS Ad.jpg

I thought RPS curated all of its ads through Eurogamer? I understand if money demands they change their policies but I wish they'd make an announcement, given how big of a deal they've mad of this up till now.

I mailed John Walker about this and he responded that this stuff is unacceptable. He asked to send him the URLs the ads link to, because that makes it easier to remove them from the site. So, if you have similar concerns, just mail him (I guess).

RPS does not approve adds, Eurogamer does.
That being said, Eurogamer could apply a bit more scrutiny.

I had this crazy idea that Eurogamer had similar values to RPS around these issues, so I'm pretty surprised their passing off these "naked women assures me this game has been banned in 12 countries" ad.

I'm getting a "No Time To Explain" Youtube video ad that auto-plays very loudly.
As much as I like No Time To Explain, I absolutely despise auto-playing ads. I really don't mind Youtube ads as long as I get the choice whether I want to play them.

Yeah getting inundated with autoplaying video ads on all the pages I've visited so far today. To make it worse there seems to be autoplaying lead in ads preceding the autoplaying ads.

I have just registered to point out that mobile users in Spain get redirected to a fake android play store featuring ladies taking it up the ruff:

Happens on all Eurogamers sites actually, flipboards inbuilt browser and chrome.

Can you have this vendor pulled? I don't think hardcore pornography is intended but the ads aren't being vetted and I am pretty sure the download it links to is a virus too.

David Cameron will nab you otherwise.

I´m Spanish too and got to that porn video site the other day while browsing and though I had some troyan on my mobile. Happened later on the tablet too, also visiting RPS, so I started to suspect the problem was with the site, not my devices. I´m relieved the problem is here, but at the same time baffled that RPS and Eurogamer have this kind of ads :( I´ve been redirected from Chrome but also from feedly :(

I'm going to have to agree. I think NoScript would protect me (most malicious ads don't embed the entire javascript they need to work into the page), but I'm not going to take chances.

Seeing "adverts" along the lines of 'Windows System Error Detected' flashing at me on RPS. Presumably these are all things that have crept in unnoticed over the Christmas period, but I'm popping AdBlock back on for safety's sake (I don't particularly want to mis-click and end up on some malware site) until it's resolved.

I have seen it on other "gaming" sites also. Looks like its some crap LoL browser copy with less dressed characters.

Yes ad, my cookies say I like games. But not that.

Noo there's ads on the FrontPage on my mobile now and it's a huge flickering unresponsive monstrosity for Insidious 2. Every time I scroll down it flickers and flashes. And I can't even get rid of it and it's very annoyingly always on screen.

I was reading the article today on the Humble Bundle X and this ad (Image below) was on my screen (twice). Not really the kinda of thing I am looking for from my preferred games coverage site.

Here is the Imgur link: http://imgur.com/XF2XI1x

Well, the same boob-ads that I reported a month ago start showing up again.

I think I stop caring about that now.

I just opened RPS on my iPad. Before the page was done loading, the Appstore opened with a prompt to download a slot machine app. What the flying fuck.
