I'm afraid that they are aware of this though, and in this post in the official forums (in a thread where players list what they think are the best outfits in their server), one of their members is identifying RPS as a growing potential threat, if we adapt our tactics to our increasing size, according to his opinion.

By the way, I don't mean that everyone is oh so skilled and organised, and we are terribad. It's just that paying a bit of attention at enemy tactics and style will also improve our playstyle and enjoyment of the game, and save us a few nasty surprises.

DWG for instance has Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements for certs and loadouts, and Tier 2 lists, among other things, weapons with Underbarrel Smoke Grenade Launchers.

which is stupid as mindburst for example shoots through smoke without using the NV scope. dont quite get how but dear lord he can shoot well. :D

I believe you can spot through smoke, at which point just aim under the wedge.

Also, if there is smoke there is most likely someone walking through. Just shoot the smoke, you are likely to hit someone(Firefall: bug shot) // (PS2: bobby is going home)

Things were simpler in Planetside 1, forums were made for one purpose: requesting that Vanu be nerfed.
Then we would lock an enemy home continent to steal their technology and kick their asses even harder with their own weapons, just to show them that we actually were a bit underpowered compared to them.

This thread is gold. Resurrect it and get back on topic.
I believe it covered:
* AA tactics
* touched max crashing, but I think it could be expanded to "How to hold a point / How to take a point"
* AT tactics, but I would like to see this divided up into base defence, managing own tank columns, dealing with enemy tank columns (outside bases), Lancer nests (as its own topic)
A good "new SL" resource would also cover, off the top of my head:
* rapid redeploying: how to get it right
* Links to the mentoring stuff.
Oh yeah. There are broken links to the mentoring stuff. I should find the right place to report that
