    I've been waiting for Gunpoint.

I guess it's now time to get Dark Souls... is it as hard as Demon's Souls?

I've never played Demon's Souls, but Dark Souls is hard. Very hard. But this somehow makes it even better and even more rewarding.

Any thoughts on Evoland? I like the look of it, but I'm not 100% sold. My gut tells me this will be in an Indie Royale or Humble Bundle at some point.

Why not? We generally prefer our instructions to be backed up with valid opinions around here.

Gunpoint is a 2 hour snack with some decent writing by a Pc Gamer journo gone rogue. As a game...eeeeeh.

Don't give money to Stardock, period. They don't deserve it.

I'm torn and will probably pass on it. Evoland has received a great deal of hate.

Am I crazy, or is one of the community choice options to increase the price of a game.

Right now Strike Suit Zero is 75% off ($4.99) until July 22nd. The Community Choice vote is for 66% off ($6.80). I know we've seen some bad Community Choice options, but really? Maybe it's punishment for people picking all the lame repeats and bad deals.

The demo really disappointed me despite its polish. Maybe as a heavy stealth and puzzle game game player I wasn't the demos target audience but the demo was too bloody easy. I didn't need to engage myself once, yes I died a few times exploring the limits of the systems but it ran out of steam before the demo ended.
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

The sale sometimes takes a while to 'get started' - prices usually drop in the 30 mins after it actually starts...

Does the existing customer discount stack - is the main question...

Buggy. Not as many players. Game changed from what it use to be, or supposed to be. No direction, random multiplayer grab bag. It is a huge waste of money with terrible gameplay. Overall, the game is dead.

The final game is just like that, too easy. Even if you gimp your run by not using/abusing gadgets the levels are either an obvious puzzle or a hit&run situation. With gadgets it's even easier. Having played it after Mark of the Ninja it fell very very very flat.

That said, the writing is worth a couple of bucks here http://www.gunpointgame.com/

Gunpoint is price matched to the sale on the dev's website, if you want him to get more of your currencies.

Counter argument: I'm not done yet (though just about I think) with 3 hours logged and buy Gunpoint.

It's short, but it's thoroughly charming, and not quite like anything else I've played. And there's a demo to help you decide, so basically right now I'm seeing a lot of typing and not much Gunpoint buying.

Also, I thought Stardock were legitimately decent. Why do you say not to give them money, pakoito?

Note: The developer is matching the Steam price on his site and you get a Steam key anyway:
    http://www.gunpointgame.com/

Looks like it may be cheaper to get it there for Europeans; 6 USD.

    ETA: ah, ninjaed.
