Maybe they already have Darksiders 2 and Gunslinger.

This sale was a massive letdown. Out of the $50 I had burning a hole in my Steam Wallet, I spend about $12.60.

Wait, how is that a bad thing?
Hear from the spirit-world this mystery:

Angel and demon, man and beast art thou,
Yea, thou art all thou dost appear to be!

He now has $37.40 stuck in his Steam Wallet, at zero interest!, and with no way to get it out.

I take it you weren't impressed by the alarmingly bolded letters. Very well. I suppose it's not that big of a deal, then.

There was a lot of good solid releases from Jan-Now between bigger titles and indies on sale. The Sept-Holiday 2012 release did not have as much new games since so many bigger titles are lumped in Nov/Dec and are not discounted high and we saw fewer kickstarter/indie/EarlyAccess releases in that timeframe.

Hopefully a lot more of the Early Access games get completed in time for the Holiday 2013 sale.

Thanks for the link in a way, but I was simply observing. It was mainly on how some collections like the Unreal one went on offer, yet a normal deep discount franchise like Stalker was ignored.

FYI, I got some of my Steam credit out of my wallet by smuggling a game for someone, who then paid me back with paypal. It was of little use, though, because the Paypal credit went right back to another smuggler, so I never got to profit from it.

Both Trine 2 and Kentucky Route 0 are currently on sale on Steam for a bigger discount than they ever got in the summer sale - just as a little "fuck you" to anyone who bought them last week, I guess.

Steam is pretty rapidly eating up any respect I might have for Valve.

What do you want them to do? Stop having sale for a month after summer sale?
    Add me: Steam, Raptr: mnem

KR0 lost in the community vote, so that one's not on Valve.

I didn't buy either of them in the sale, so it doesn't affect me personally, but thanks for assuming the worst as a first resort.

By the way, I'm terribly disappointed in the title of this thread. I seem to remember that we had far more imaginative Steam Summer Sale Threads before?

That actually makes it worse, because it means you're vicariously offended on the chance somebody is whining that their discount wasn't as big as it could have been.
