Nuuvem also has Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for £15, Steam key. Does anyone know if its region locked as well? All I can see on the forums is that the MP is region specific, nothing about the game as a whole.

A quick search through the Steam database turns up all subscriptions that include Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition:

    Code:
    SubID	Name Last Updated
61	Steam Master	about 17 hours ago
62	Press Master	2 days ago
    27552	Steam Sub 27552	2 months ago
    27603	Steam Sub 27603	2 months ago
    27616	Steam Sub 27616	2 months ago
    27740	Steam Sub 27740	2 months ago
28159	MK Retail	3 days ago
28925	Mortal Kombat Early Access	8 days ago
29006	Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition	3 days ago
There are no region specific entries, so I'd guess there's just one worldwide version.

I did the same for Wargame: EE and it turns out there is at least a Russion, Polish, Czech and a Japanese version in existence. No entry for Brazil or South America, though, so I guess it's not unlikely that nuuvem is selling the worldwide release.

Then that lucky devil is eligible to have 75% off a whole raft of games they already own!

I sacrificed myself for the good cause and just went ahead and bought the damn thing. The purchasing process is incredibly straight forward which is a bit baffling, considering the fact that I don't speak a single word Portuguese. They don't even ask for a full address and are satisfied when provided with first and last name, date of birth and a valid e-mail address; at no point did I have to pretend to be a Brazilian gentleperson.

The key (which is provided instantly) simply registered as Wargame: European Escalation Retail. So, everything's peachy, I guess. Thx for the tip, Curry!

I think some dude on my list is 30 or 50 or some shit. I know he has a bunch of Valve employee friends so who knows. Like most people on my steam list I don't even know who he is or why he's on my friend's list.

Most people on my steam list are bloodbowl players or the another strategy* game. Consequently I end up with a wide range of 'friend' activities.

*SotS, Dom3, Solium, Company of Heroes, Shadowstrike**, Homeworld 2: Complex, Fall from Heaven.

**More strategy than many 'strategy games
I'm failing to writing a blog, specifically about playing games the wrong way

Apologies. Shadowstrike is the communities name for it drawn from the ".exe" name of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow's multiplayer which was redubbed simply "Versus.exe" for Chaos Theory's multiplayer.

For the uninitiated it's (principally) a 2 vs 2 asymmetrical action game in which violence is simply a byproduct of the trickery and teamwork, rather than the main reason for playing.

2 people control facsimiles of Sam Fisher with only a stun gun and gadgets, 2 people are playing a tactical FPS but with a wide range of gadgets like sensors, mines, a security camera loop and d course an assault rifle.

    It's fun!

Blacklist is remaking it, I expect grinding a cash store, mandatory match making, broken balance and dota style teammate rage.

That is true. As its valves game, I think they are ok with losing some sale time but it would be funny to see the steam discussion if the sale doesn't hit this thursday

Does it have to be flown in? Anyway, it seems reasonable enough. The midweek sales only ever seem to end at 10:00 when there's a big sale starting the same day.

As said, the Shades of Darkness and Dragonborn expansions are highest on my list this year, but there's of course a few other titles I'm interested in. Dishonored and Tomb Raider, for example.

Also, especially around sale times, bear in mind steam is by no means immune to errors.
