As Quake Wars is the only one of those I do not own I voted for the other three (But ET might be a good alternative, as suggested).
Also I would have to get to my parents place to find my UT and Quake copies. Must be in a box somewhere.

as I said in another thread, UT99 is available for free, officially.

Soo ... do we want to set a date for this then? I would love to have an evening of classic manshoots.

I got a bit impatient/nostalgic and booted up UT99 for the first time in years. God the graphics are not what I remember; but I was shocked at how well the gameplay holds up.

Part of it is because I haven't played a game like this for ages; you actually have to pick up more powerful weapons from around the map - I had forgotten that such a concept existed!

<3 the flak cannon. It's like the chunkiest shotgun ever.

well, I would gladly sacrifice one of the BF3 nights, since my server is running out in two weeks anyway.

    So what about the 19th?

Also, if anyone has recommendations for running a server for UT99, I havent looked around yet but every bit helps!

No, it isn't. I would not have missed the news, and I can't find any free release announcements anywhere.

You are either linking a pirated copy, a patched demo, or something similar. The file does not appear on Gamefront's own UT page, or in their UT files index, and it has fewer than 8k downloads. This is not legit.
