That final game was just absolutely insane. Really entertaining.

Quite sad that NaVi didn't get it. They were a decision away from taking it, but I am still amazed at how good the whole tournament was. There were so many great games and so many memorable moments.

I have to say that was the most exciting competition I've seen, even above regular sports.

    Decision away from taking it?

S4's puck coil to stop three tps to base was where the game was basically over.

    Million Dollar Dream Coil.

I was very mad at Alliance for the silly picks in the 5th, but they persevered and got it in the end. S4 won that last game for them, not only he landed the two dream coils but got the Roshan steal that started the turnaround. Na´Vi failed at pressing the advantage, a very common mistake in Dota when you cannot assess your current situation. Their warding all finals was sub-par at best, in part thanks to Akke.

The rest of the games were stomps from either side, games 1/2 from straight outpicks, 3/4 from outplays.

[SPOILERS STOP HERE IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE FINAL]

What an emotional roller-coaster that grand final. Dota at its best.

I was sad to see Na'Vi defeated. It stings when you make it to the final and get 2nd best two years in a row, especially when victory was so close at hand.

Ultimately they were outsmarted by Alliance. NaVi made split decisions under a lot of pressure that did not pay off, where Alliance's did.

Yes S4 did an amazing job, and he's an incredible player. But my feeling is they lost the game when their top and bottom rax where taken by the split push. They where not coming back from that, not with the threat of NP and IO.

Too many best moments to mention, but I have to say that the early ganks against XBOCT in the final round, and how this amazing man handled it brought tears to my eyes. My god that juking. "I'm taking you with me, fiend!'. I am going to build a XBOCT shrine.

See you guys in the jungle.

    [SPOILERS]

I was even more sad about Orange's loss against Na'Vi. Orange probably played the most entertaining and varied dota in ages, especially Mushi. Alas, it was not meant to be, I guess.

Ditto. There were times I could have simply watched via Twitch, but I loaded up the client instead. Much chat fun was had.

Yeah, the chat was fantastic. The hype in the final game was palpable.

If you haven't seen this too, you really must.

Completely missed this sub-forum and thread! I was convinced Na'Vi had that last match! Fair play to Alliance though.

As with Easy, the early Xboct juking had me losing it!

I replied in the other thread anyway, but I've never been a fan of non-contaminating moderation.

Wait, there are rewards for predictions and Fantasy Teams? Damn, maybe I should have been paying attention ... What kind of rewards are we talking about, anyway?
