    Sweet! Thanks! :D
    I think of [the Internet] as a grisly raw steak laid out on a porcelain benchtop in the sun, covered in chocolate hazelnut sauce. In the background plays Stardustís Music Sounds Better With You. Thereís lots of fog. --tomeoftom

    The new separator lines improve it a lot... though I still think the sidebar could use some work.

    I wouldn't say it was styling, but it's fine now.

    And now there's this. In the bottom of this post with quite a heated debate, there's a page selector for the comments, but clicking "2" just shows the same long page of comments all over again. It may be all there is, but either way it's not working correctly.

    When I tried the edit button, I just got a blank text box. Though this may have been because RPS was melting under the strain of the PAX article comments.

    In terms of accessibility, the left-align and lack of separation between posts makes reading the site a lot harder on my eyes than before. On a separate note, the logo looks really strange and somewhat out of place now; it could use some work.

    Well, until the site is centered again I'm using this modified Firefox Stylish setting I found on userstyles.org. I'm a total newb at this stuff, but I managed to tweak it to...
    • restore story tags & menu bar
    • change the garish top comments
    • forum compatibility
    • revert font change
    • clean up a tad / other small tweaks

    Unfortunately I don't know how to position stuff myself properly, so adding back the other bits and bobs in a sensible way eludes me.
    Code:
    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

    @-moz-document domain("rockpapershotgun.com") {
    #featured-stories-wrapper, #sidebar, #footer,
    #menu-utility-container,
    #ecd_opt_in_banner, .social, #skyscraper, .OUTBRAIN,
    .featured-block-title
    { display:none !important; }

    body, #content, div.content, #page-wrapper, #top-comments.block { background:#000 !important; float:none !important; margin:auto !important; }
    p, li { line-height:1.4em !important; }

    body, #content, div.content { border-right:0px !important; }
    p, li { line-height:1.4em !important; }

    #top-comments.block { background:rgb(255,255,255) !important; float:none !important; margin:auto !important; }
    p, li, h3 { line-height:1.4em !important; color:rgb(0,0,0) !important;}

    #content, #leaderboard, #page, #header-content, div.low-leaderboard-container { width:auto !important; }
    div.content { width:750px !important; }
    #page { margin:auto !important; }

    div.content > .block, #all-comments, #top-comments.block { margin-bottom:1em !important; border-radius:0.5em !important; }

    Just noticed that the new layout now fits the iPad screen in portrait mode perfectly. Good job.

    I'm using this script, https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/177921 installed using Tampermonkey. It aligns it in the center, just the way I like it.

    Amazing work, I think this is the definitive style.
    You don't seem to have posted it to userstyles, so I took the liberty to post it.

    Very nice! It looks quite sleek. I do like the general style and coloring of the new page, and I even like the mis-matched grey-whites now that there are boundary lines. I just really didn't like the offset.

    On the front page I'm now getting a chunk of white space between the top newest article and the rest. It also happens between the end of an article and the comments section. It's almost like there should be a big ad there that just isn't loading.

    Screen

    Just started happening today.

    There was a CSS fubar -- do a hard refresh of the page (ctrl-F5 in Firefox) and it should be fixed.

    Here's my new userstyle: Rock Paper Terminal. Yes, it's exactly what it says on the tin. It was designed/kludged with the Oblivion color scheme in mind, and it works best with Grey_Ghost's Rock Paper Centered.
    It will eventually work on the main page.
