Thread: Merry Christmas

Let's put down, as least temporarily, our differences, to celebrate this great day we have every year. Actually I think Christmas is tomorrow, but anyway, people start to celebrate tonight. Tonight I probably stay home and is to hang out tomorrow.
About 2K years ago there was a great man sacrifice himself for us to redeem our crime. Let's not forget this history and do more good deems in the hope that our world will eventually become a great world.
Dont think people around me have public holiday, but HK offices overseeing mine here has closed early today, so I will have a two-day holiday in the coming two days, too. Yahooooooooo~ I heard there are serious proposal to our government to introduce public holiday for Christmas. Anyway, many of my friends take their annual leaves this week.

Io Saturnalia to you - and everyone else - too. The darkest day of winter is now behind us, and what a great time it is to move into 2014 and to see spring return at last to these cold northern shores of the European continent. This year has seen little snow compared to last, and I hope that continues.
Anyway, the Dutch have already celebrated Sinterklaas on the 5th this month, so Christmas itself will be a rather modest affair compared to the hysteria that has come to surround it in neighbouring countries. The birth of Jesus of Nazareth obviously pales in comparison to the events of Easter for Christians, but I'm sure many will still flock to the churches tonight to remember that special event, regardless of when in the year it actually took place."He has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to
the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free". ~ Luke 4:18

"Quantacat's name is still recognised even if he watches on with detached eyes like Peter Molyneux over a cube in 3D space, staring at it with tears in his eyes, softly whispering... Someday they'll get it."
"It's frankly embarrassing. The mods on here are woeful."
"I wrinkled my nose at QC being a mod."
"At least he has some personality."
