    Skyhill, Roguelike-Survival game from The Mandragora team

    «Skyhill» is a roguelike story about staying alive when there is no reason to.

    You are a resident of
    Skyhill hotel,who survived biological catastrophe. Goal - is to get out of your penthouse in search of other people and salvation. But all elevators in the building are off and floors are flooded with hazards.

    You are not sure is there any other survivors, as far as you know everyone in the building died, or… changed beyond recognition. Those who provided room service and pushed buttons in elevators for you not so long ago… well now all they want is to rip off your flesh to get to your tasty insides… So much for customer service.

    You face the dilemma: on the one hand you have to get out from the damn building, on the other hand your hotel suite is your only “Fort” that protects from the horrors of post-apocalyptic reality.

    * Exploration
    You have to fix electricity to activate the elevators on each floor “fighting off” your way out, while slowly descending down to the exit. Explore randomly generated suites and corridors in search of food, tools and other supplies you need to survive. Each new game will be different from the previous one. Who knows, what awaits you behind the door. Large supply of food, huge mutant, or lethal trap?

    *Survival
    You need to eat, rest and win each battle. Unfortunately increasingly scarce supply of food forces you to visit dangerous locations of the hotel in search of useful items and weapons. This highly increases your probability to meet mutants, and leaves less time to rest. Price of mistake is high - permadeath is one of the key gameplay mechanics, so if you die, you will have to start it all over again.



    *Crafting
    Obviously hotel is not the best place to find heavy weaponry and ammunition, but for a lack of any other option you will have to use your wits. Skyhill is full of different seemingly useless items, which could be turned into powerful weapons or armor. Depending on found resources you can craft weaponry from “stick with a nail” to handmade shotgun. Each weapon can be upgraded and be given new perks. We plan 80+ craft blueprints on release, and add more in future updates after release of the game!

    *Multiple characters
    Choose one of the eight playable characters - each with own history and unique gameplay style. Maybe you want to be an MMA champion, who can defeat the enemy with bare hands? Or maybe you want to take a role of fashion model with her “toy dog”, who can smell the hazard before entering the room?



    *Twisted plotline
    What really has happened? What kind of catastrophe that destroyed much of the population? Why were you the one, who survived? And what a strange voice, that whispers predictions, when you sleep? Skyhill is not only a story about survival. It is a story of a mystery, that might be unveiled not for everyone.


    This is "Skyhill", roguelike dungeon crawler for IOS,Android, Win, Mac, Linux. Developed with Unity3D, TBD right now.

    ...Three months have passed since the end of World War III. Three months from the end of the world. One of the survivors(there are several of them, each with unique stats and passive), who hide from the scourge of biological weapons in the penthouse in most expensive hotel of the city finds its way down to salvation. He must search for food and water to survive; find and upgrade better weapons to fight mad mutants.

    Soon we plan to release our first demo here, after we finish combat system.

    Hey guys! How have you been? =)
    While we’re working on «Skyhill», we’d like to introduce you our new team member.

    But can you talk to the monsters? That knife raises some questions about the monsters. Oversized butchering equipment wonderfully maintained and sparkling clean.

    Clearly these 'monsters' are reasonable and mindful, what have we done to be so reviled by them?

    They was a people before mutation, and save some mind after. And so they can remember some simple things. Like instincts. We have a story about them and situation, but you will know it only in game. I can't say about it now.

    You are too polite. :) I guess my thought is that horror doesn't always need to justify itself, maybe its better that it doesn't always, I just often see the inherent comedy in horror first.
