Awesome, I guess that means I can cancel my programme to make my warriors breathe water. Thanks VV.

Wait, you have a plan for that?

Abandon primary target! Acquire secondary target! Where is he?

Well, it mainly consists of holding a Marverni's head under water and seeing if he can breathe. We sign the ones that can up to the Marine Corps, the ones who can't go in the mass grave. It's not been going great so far, truth be told. We're about 0-250.

He's hiding in the temple with the Vestal virgins

My soldiers make snorkels using dry banana shells. Interested JB?

I have to say I'm really into the game. I can't wait for the next turn (and to think we planned weekly turns! pfff).

Dominions just has so much personality. And the map is really lovely, you should save it somewhere. Especially if the starting provinces all are where I believe them to be. (Advantage of water nations is that I can get everywhere way faster than you lot! Now, how do I stop my troops from undrowning....)

Yes, this map is pretty incredible. And it only took me four generations to come up with it, which was quite a pleasant surprise.

A question to everyone. From what I see is we're entering the stage where diplomacy and trade becomes interesting. The in-game messaging system is fun but fundamentally broken, as it needs two turns for each reply (which adds an interesting strategical depth to communication), and it has a severe limit on characters.

Would you like to keep the stylish in-game messengers, or should we allow out of game cooperations and communications?

I quite like the in game messages... the delay in communication does add something. Like vendettas in Solium Infernum, takes a good few turns for things to happen.

Obviously though, we can't stop people emailing each other and whatnot.

I also like the messaging system, but I guess we can't prevent people from communicating in other ways.

I don't really care either way. But if we do decide to only use the in-game message system, surely we can just agree to stick to it?

    Yep.

We're all honourable people, apart from those demon-infested goblins, noisy apes, depraved legionaires and half-naked, all-crazed treehuggers.

Those underwater guys are pretty nice, too!

I agree, let's just stick to in-game communication from now on. It makes sense within the game world (messengers have to get there, and they already do it much faster than these dang scouts).

Is it possible to increase the level of a priest?

The only way to do that is to prophetise him, IIRC. You can't empower Holy like you can with the other magic trees. This is part of what makes C'Tis (high level priests) good.

Yeah, I've written up my notes now. I'll get them put up on a blog and give some of my friends the link. But not you guys yet.
