It's a summer manchild buddy movie, except one of the manchildren is a teddy bear.

It's like we've regressed back to the days of Rob Schneider.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes....

Nah, looks boring. Will stick with the film. Too many serious people in the world already.

Hey now, Happy Gilmore is good.

Ted is exactly what'd you expect from MacFarlane.

And Sandler was great in Airheads (for all ten minutes or so he was plot relevant (to the extent that Airheads had a plot)).

I am not a fan of Seth MacFarlane in general, but I hear he did a great job with this movie. I'll probably wait until the network TV version is on TNT or something though. Watching the trailer, I smirked a bit, but I really don't need to hear Marky Mark doing nothing but cursing for 2 hours.

Punch Drunk Love was pretty good, and Funny People wasn't bad either (where Sandler plays a sort of bitter jaded version of himself). The rest of his output is woeful.

I can think of literally no comment to make about a bro-com starring a talking teddy bear.
I write about them video games at these locations

    And on Twitter
