Love the jungle vibe on this.

I seriously hate the Portal games because every time I walk out with a song stuck to my ears that I can't get rid of.
The National's song was pretty good too (sorry, can't embed more than 1 video)

Dropkick Murphys new album, 7th Dec or downloadable from their site now. Sounds good so far.
That new Mumford and Sons album is pretty good.
Also, if you like dubstep, ButchClancy is good. old news, but good.
I'm sure everyone's seen this video with his remix of "Pumped Up Kicks," but his soundcloud has more stuff that's just as good
Pantha du Prince & The Bell Laboratory looks to be the first good album of 2013 for me. Listen and let the loveliness wash over you.

Spectral Split in particular is brilliant.

I always avoided Fever Ray because I can't stand The Knife, but I'm seeing that was a fallacy.

Hadn't realised that Charlotte Hatherley has utterly reinvented herself as Sylver Tongue. I'll definitely miss the old Hatherley, as her solo output was great and New Worlds is one of the most underrated guitar pop records of recent years. However her new stuff sounds pretty damn good.
I can not get over how ridiculously good Royksopp are at pop music. Melody AM is still my favorite, but this just floors me.

Open-faced sandwiches are upon you whether you would risk it or not.
I do, Nick Cave. I really do.

New Yo La Tengo out tomorrow. When it was announced last November they name checked And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out and I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One for the tone of the new album. What more could you ask for.
uuuuhhh... okay. Dunno if this is the right thread for this one. Song's pretty catchy, though

Put this in the metal thread as well, but i'm not normally a fan of anything even approaching metal - but i LOVE this.
Spotify bizarrely reccomended it after i listed to some Godspeed You Black Emperor. It has an amazing tempo change about 6:30 in, but you really need to have listened along that far to appreciate it
Blood In Our Wells is a ridiculously excellent album. (and a great reminder that black metal is far better without constant blastbeats)
