the new Antlers album is wondrous, The Antlers – Burst Apart
Three Trapped Tigers are glitchy and mathy and silly Three Trapped Tigers – Route One or Die
And So I Watch You From Afar are loud and chunky and fun and ever so slightly post rock with added 'wooohoo' And So I Watch You from Afar – Gangs
Tall Ships are pegs upon which to hang ideas Tall Ships – Tall Ships EP / There Is Nothing But Chemistry Here EP

Listening to Kid Cudi, I honestly don't see how anyone could not like at least some of his music.

Surely you cannot be serious. I bought that album and thought it was childish.... in 1999.

Oh, and right now I'm listening to my coworker play the fucking Chipmunk's Xmas album. FML.

Definitely agree, though his 2nd album is a real grower.

Right now = Elzhi - Elmatic

How rare to find someone else who likes this album, as a huge bowie fan this is one of his more obscure works. Way ahead of its time like most Bowie stuff.

The Blue Valley by Karsten Koch. It's long, nice and great for doing computer stuff. Especially if you played Uplink(and if you didn't, you should).

Thanks to John's post about The National I'm now listening exclusively to that. Never heard it before, it's hauntingly beautiful - at the same time being somehow soul crushingly depressing and yet full of hope like those first rays of brilliant sunshine poking through at the end of a titanic thunderstorm.

So yeah, thanks to you and that site, I'm now listening to it over and over and over and over and over (which reminds me, Hot Chip still gets a play from time to time).

Been listening to the new Flashbulb album. It's different than his previous stuff, but still really good.

Currently have Soulwax's cover of Prince's Starfish and Coffee bouncing around in my head. I guess that doesn't really count as 'listening', though.

Just got around to listening to Laurel Halo's EP Hour Logic and I'm pretty much in love. Can't believe how much her sound has developed in the space of a few releases.

I've also been kicking myself because I've had Gang Gang Dance's new album sat on my wishlist since it came out. Stuck it on this morning and my head melted.

Moby's latest album, Destroyed. Deffo one of his best: wonderfully atmospheric and incredibly quality-consistent throughout the colossal 72-minute length.
