Just watched "Moneyball" and immediately fell in love with the soundtrack. To quote a reviewer on Amazon "... surging strings, rhythmic tempos, tempered with moments of calm."
And finally this 11 minute country rock instrumental:

All times I have enjoyed greatly, have suffered greatly, both with those that loved me, and alone.
Interesting. I'll take a poke at the rest of his work. I want to love it, but I think, even as a fan of minimalism, too little happens in some of the tracks. I'm sure that works out a lot better onscreen than off however.
The last one also left me a bit ambivalent. I liked it a little more, because it went somewhere rather interesting and it didn't go for any of the cheap payoffs it seemed to be building for. At the same time it felt like it wasn't really at home when it brought out the big drums and symbols and swells.
I'm certainly intrigued, and it's a nice break from all the Hans Zimmer soundtracks. They're enjoyable, but quite samey.
Dis, its good for you

I'm on a Solar Fields kick, again.
The album this song comes from and the Real Estate album Days are the best two purchases so far from my post best of 2011 list buys.

Anyways, listening to the new Sólstafir-album. Awesome stuff. Nice post-rock touch too. Can't wait for their spring tour with Hexvessel.
Two of my favourites from Solar Fields
I am enjoying Enrique's songs on my iPod. He is a fabulous and one of the best singer in this world.
Glorious
Also,
I can't get enough of those drums!
