Recently I've been hopelessly drawn to Radiohead. This song sticks out as being rather affecting.
And, on a completely different end of the mood chart, here's something particularly beautiful:

Man, Radiohead songs are hard to get into. Especially, the ones from the Kid A album. Most of their songs, though oddly beautiful at times, sounds a bit too... out of place. Random. But I love this one
Anyways, Zarathustra by Richard Strauss was nice
And this one's hypnotic

Decided I'd upload a few tracks from that Gabo Gulbenkian album I posted about, since I can't find anyone else doing it. Been on constant rotation since it turned up on Friday.
A bit of a back catalogue listen through at the moment since there doesn't seem to be much new music that is interesting me at the moment.
Been off work for a couple of weeks, not sure that explains the following selection of what iTunes wanted to play me:
After going on a bit of a binge of listening to The Delgados (something guaranteed to happen whenever "Pull the Wires from the Wall" from Peleton crops up on shuffle!) I decided to fill the gaps I had in their back catologue by buying the collection of their Peel Session and their final album Universal Audio. On first impressions I'm finding it intriguing. It's easy to follow the progression in greater use of orchestration between their middle 3 albums. The final album ditches this but rather than returning to the rockier, rawer edges of their debut has much more akin to their later albums. Definitely highlights how they progressed as a band although as much as I love them I do kind of wish they'd revisted the shoutier, spikier songs on their debut at some stage before they split up.
Anyway a fantastic band and one that was horribly under appreciated, especially after releasing 5 straight albums of exceptionally high quality. At least their former members are still out there making/producing/releasing great music. Here's the song that sent me on this binge, it's abso-fucking-lutely wonderful.
Adele 21.. Very nice album.
I found this
Awwww, yeah....
And listening to this afterwards
These songs are really good songs, shame there the only good songs on the album its on.
